About a week ago, I had the honour of moderating two panel sessions for @amcchannels at the @bopnetworks conference during the just concluded edition of @africacreativemarketglobal. To say I had an interesting, insightful, and rewarding time would honestly be an understatement.

It was such a privilege to engage with brilliant minds shaping Africa’s creative economy, sharing ideas, gaining fresh perspectives, and connecting with inspiring creatives and industry leaders from across the continent. The conversations were rich, the energy was unmatched, and the experience left me even more excited about the future of our creative space.

Grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to many more platforms like this❤️✨

There are moments you don’t script, they just happen🥺

I’ve had this clip for over a year, quietly holding it close and waiting for the right moment to share it, and then it came.

Something happened this week that shook my confidence for a moment. It made me question myself, my work over the years and my worth but one thing about life? It goes on no matter what. So I had to pick myself up, prep for, host and produce another Fashion Insider shoot day because one missed opportunity does not erase years of passion, excellence, growth, consistency, impact or who God has called me to be.

This conversation wasn’t just compliments or flattery. @denrele_edun saw the work, the growth and the consistency and coming from someone I’ve watched shape media culture for years, it hit deeper than applause, especially now.

So this clip is my reminder to myself before anyone else that I’ve got this, even when I think I don’t.

Thank you for the flowers, Denrele. I receive them fully, with humility, gratitude and so much love.
