Hi! I'm Hrick, and this was my 2025.
A year where everything came at once. Family problems, financial stress, pressure building from all sides. From quitting my job to leaving the country I once called home. Shutting doors I thought I’d always be able to walk back through. Risk became normal. Stability disappeared. But I kept moving even when I wasn’t sure where I was headed.

Somewhere along the way, I lost my sense of direction. I was humbled in ways I didn’t expect. Reduced to starting over, learning how small things really are when comfort is gone.
I crossed lines, made mistakes I’ll carry with me. But I also learned about things that only come when life strips you down to nothing - patience, control, restraint, and kindness when it’s not convenient.
In the midst of all, changed the way I see the world. Not loudly. Not all at once. Just quietly. Suddenly things looked different. Colors sharper, moments slower, meaning deeper. Circumstances that once felt like dead ends slowly turned into openings. Doors appeared that I never noticed before, and I learned how to walk through them without fully understanding where they’d lead.

Then that part of my life faded. Leaving me with nothing but a void of absence.
And absence does something to you. It doesn’t shout, it lingers. It changes how mornings feel. How silence sounds. Some things were never spoken about. Some things were left unresolved. That part still sits there, unchanged, even as everything else keeps moving.

Still, I got up. Every day. Kept going. I put everything back on myself and decided to grow instead of folding. Progress didn’t come from emotion, it came from showing up, even when it was quiet, even when it hurt. There are things that stay with you, lessons you don’t unlearn, perspectives you can’t unsee.

Now I’m walking into 2026 without the warmth I once leaned on, without the direction that once felt shared. But I’m not walking without hope. I still believe in alignment. In timing. In things building their way back how and when they’re meant to.
I’m stepping into 2026 with faith.
With intention.
And this time - with God.

a Step away, a World apart 🌊

I went not lost, but quiet, in the hush of time.
the days grew full, the heart grew reticent,
life asked for more, and silence shaped the rhyme.
at twenty-five, the world began to shift,
with dreams that ran and hands that reached too wide.
i held on tight, though some things start to drift-
even the ones who once stood by my side.
four years i wandered, chasing breath and peace,
not whole, not broken, somewhere in between.
then came a land where time itself would cease,
and purple skies would fall in twilight’s sheen.
in albania, i felt something begin…
a soft return, a slow exhale within. 🏝️

Scomparsa non per paura, ma per cercare porte aperte al cuore spezzato. Persa in terre strane, attraversando mari, inseguendo un destino sfuggente. Nel silenzio, curo ciò che l’amore ha lasciato in frantumi 🏝️🚤
