Sexy audience <3 thank you for coming to another showing of ‘Las Hustlerboy’ at @coko.space last Friday. Performed with @hrihro and my favourite secret guest. Not gonna lie it was my first solo showing with this much audience and the nerves got me singing like a broken smoke alarm, so sorry! but the nerves faded out luckily once we started the hustle. So enjoyed this audience set up and the supportive energy in space. Definitely my favourite showing of Las Hustlerboy so far <3 Very happy that the original SW’er of the research was present and finished the work by saying the last sentences of the work and that we could make out again in real time while our first make out session was playing behind us. Full circle moment 💎 Super happy to show work so soon after graduating, big thanks to the Brazilian mothers @bea_correa_ and @true.roseak for having me and being so kind all week and helpfull to make me understand the space. Excited to share that I take part as a performer in The Fortress at the Dutch Pavilion for the 61st edition of La Biennale di Venezia (2026), a work by Dries Verhoeven in collaboration with curator Rieke Vos. Introducing Harald Stojan @hrihro Lecture: “The voice as an instrument / Extended vocal techniques” June 4 | 18:00-19:15. A lighthearted, heart-core and potentially participative introduction to extended, somatic and performative voice techniques. Touching on the anatomical basics of vocal production, physics of sound and sound synthesis we look at the voice as an integral-bionic-acoustic instrument with extended capability. We get to know various approaches and methodologies of extended voice techniques and move from there into a demonstration of my own method that integrates metal vocals, like fry-scream, growling. Voice & Movement Performance: “Super Nature” June 6 | 20:00–20:45. Harald Stojan is presenting an excerpt from a solo-performance where he is bringing together his practices of virtual reality performance, extended & metal voice techniques, gospel & pop vocals and electronic music production. Interweaving self written songs with sound & movement based world making the performance explores where the elemental and the supernatural correlate. We are very happy and excited to introduce our first workshop Extended Vocal, by the artist and SOPA facilitator, Harald Stojan @hrihro ! An extended voice workshop focusing on techniques like growling, fry-screaming, and inhale-exhale sounding. Based on our technical warm-up we investigate “our voice” in different aspects like personal, biographical, political; what do I stand for? What shaped my voice? How do I want to reshape my voice? We combine movement and voice practices so that embodied scores emerge according to the individual interest of the participant. Harald Stojan (1993, Austria, he/they) lives and works in Berlin as a choreographer/performer, sound artist, and voice coach for somatic/guttural voice. After completing a degree in computer music and sound engineering (MDW, Vienna), he/they studied dance (Tanzfabrik, Berlin) and is currently training in “the Roy Hart Center Method.   Since 2021, he/they have been a tutor for voice and performance at the Institute for Theater Pedagogy in Lingen (Ems). His/their artistic output ranges from mixed-reality digital performances to music, DJ sets, installations, and poetry. 3D-Scans from Cloud Chamber Cloud Chamber is a film noire in VR/XR. Dark, uncertain and sensitive. The performance makes sonically, visually and performatively perceptible what cannot normally be seen. Cloud Chamber investigates the topics and poetics of nuclear energy, the sub-atomic and our relationship to this power. Under the current threat of a looming nuclear war Cloud Chamber picks reference of the film-noir genre and views it through a contemporary lense of VR-Glasses in mixed reality and the use of live-performance and a live-audience. The performers and the audience merge into a futuristic explorer community moving through post-apocalyptic landscapes, encountering not only the post-apocalypse but also mechanisms of feminist collectivity and hope. Teaser for the XR-Performance: Cloud Chamber - Mixed Reality Performance Equipped with VR-glasses, that augment the real world with 3D elements, the audience follows the performers on their quest through a post-nuclear 3D world. A “Cloud Chamber” is a form of particle detector (1920). [compare @cern @artsatcern ] The apparatus is used to visualize nuclear radiation as fog trails that leave the radioactive matter. The performance deals with the topics and poetics of nuclear energy, the atomic and the human relationship to it and draws inspiration from the field of “atomic semiotics”. A form of future science that develops models for the marking of final nuclear waste repositories. The piece utilises these linguistic, symbolic and landscape architectural models to create 3D environments, performance- and extended voice scores. A genetically colored forest A landscape of gigantic thorns. Voice scores that explore interference patterns. Cloud Chamber is a film noire in VR/XR.
