Do you know what the Lord means by "I will restore you³?

Joel 2:25 | 1 Peter 5:10
Many think restoration means going back to how things used to be, To get exactly what you lost, to erase the hurt, and return to the life you knew before. But the Lord does far more than fix what broke. Restoration is not just putting back what fell apart. It is making something better than what you lost. It is giving you strength you did not have before. It is turning your deepest pain into gentle wisdom, and your hardest loss into purpose that will help others.
He does not waste what you went through. He does not leave your scars without meaning. He takes every tear, every disappointment, and every broken piece and builds something more beautiful, more steady, and more true than what you had at first.

Just amazing 🙏 I pray God restores your life and receive His blessings. His plans are better than our own plans.

I just found my favorite pumpkin n I must say he is a beauty.

When we come across Proverbs 31 and begin reading about a wife of noble character, it sounds like we’ve met a superhero. This woman is described as persistent, hard-working, prepared, helpful, thrifty, wise, and God-fearing. Everything she does seems flawless, and it might seem hard to imagine living up to this expectation.
No one but Jesus has lived a perfect life, and Proverbs 31 isn’t trying to suggest that anyone should be performing at superhero levels. Although it is describing a wife, this chapter gives everyone a description of what it looks like to apply wisdom to our lives. Here are four ways anyone can embody the characteristics described in Proverbs 31.

WORK HARD:
“She seeks wool and flax, n works with willing hands.”
Proverbs 31:13 ESV

We can’t work for or earn our salvation. It is a gift from God that we can accept or reject. But hard work is a natural response of gratitude n thanks for all that God has done for us. We work hard to do what He has created us to do so that we can glorify God.

BE GENEROUS:
“She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.”
Proverbs 31:20 NIV

A wise person is able to notice the needs of others n tend to them. He or she will intentionally reach out & offer assistance to those in need. We can be generous with our time, resources, n God-given gifts because it's all been given to us by God.

BE PREPARED:
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, & faithful instruction is on her tongue.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When we steward our resources well n trust God with the results, we can approach the future with confidence & joy, n share what we’ve learned with others.

FEAR THE LORD:
“Charm is deceptive, n beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.”
Proverbs 31:30 NLT

Fear can have negative meanings connected to it. But in the Old Testament, fear is often associated with setting aside your will to follow God’s commands. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, & a wise person seeks to obey God in all they do.

🐿 Ribbons might be my easiest little fall
styling trick.
I put them on my pumpkins, candlesticks, lamps, and pinecones .. sometimes a bow, sometimes just a loose little knot with the tails left long. Love the softness it adds every single time.

🍄‍🟫There was a time when that pain
was all you could think about.

You replayed the conversations.
You wondered what you did wrong.
You prayed for things to change.

And maybe, for a while,
nothing seemed to get better.

But something was happening quietly.

God was changing you
while you were asking Him
to change your circumstances.

Little by little,
the tears became fewer.

The fear didn't control you
quite the way it used to.

You started sleeping more peacefully.
You stopped explaining yourself to everyone.
You learned to leave some things with God.

And then one day,
you noticed something beautiful.

The same place that once hurt
was no longer stealing your peace.

That's the glow.

Not a perfect life.
Not a pain-free life.

Just a heart that finally understands
it doesn't have to carry everything alone.

Sometimes God's greatest work
happens quietly inside us.

☕️ Good morning and happy Monday! Buenos dias y feliz Lunes.

You know that feeling when sleep won't come,
because your mind won't stop working.

You replay the conversation.
You worry about tomorrow.
You wonder how you'll handle it all.

And somewhere in the quiet,
you realize you're exhausted from carrying everything.

That's where prayer can begin.

Not with perfect words.
Not with having all the answers.

Just with an honest, “God, I can't do this alone.”

Prayer doesn't mean every problem disappears overnight.

It means you stop pretending
you were meant to carry every burden yourself.

So this morning, bring God the thing
that's been weighing on your heart.

I am grateful for a new day of life. Just to know He watches over me even when i don't search for Him.

It is a terrifying place to be. Yet, strangely, it is also the place where I found His grace.

The very place where I felt His embrace again.

We often wait until we are entirely out of options before we finally let go. We hold on to control until our fingers bleed, treating God like a last resort rather than our only refuge. But scripture reminds us that right into the heart of our exhaustion: "Return to Him, and He will restore you." (Job 22:23, Malachi 3:7).

I realized that we cannot heal what we refuse to place in His hands, and we cannot be restored until we finally let ourselves rest in Him.

Until we choose Him again.

Real restoration begins when we drop the shattered pieces at His feet and admit, "Lord, I have nothing left to hold on to. I can’t fix this. I can’t even fix myself."

You may feel like your life is already over, but, know this truth: it is not the end of your story. God is still working in and through you. He takes the empty, bare, and undone places of our lives and proves that He is still the God who can create beauty out of ashes.

Remember this: God’s design works in reverse. Restoration does not begin with our own efforts,
For to be truly restored, we must first learn one important thing for it to begin-

that is to rest in Him.

🌷Friend, u don't need to understand God in order to continue trusting Him.

There are times when you will pray n the answer will be clear. But there will be others where u will not understand why a door closed, why it took so long.
This is where faith begins to deepen.
A woman who knows God learns that His faithfulness does not depend on how much she understands His ways. There may be unanswered questions n yet a heart full of confidence.
Do not turn what u still do not understand into a reason to turn away from the Lord. Get closer. There are things that God may explain later, that u will understand over time, n some that u may never have a complete answer for. But in all of them, u can rest on one truth: the character of God does not change.

🌸 Mujer, no necesitas entender a Dios para seguir confiando en Él

Hay momentos en los que usted orará y la respuesta será clara. Pero habrá otros en los que no comprenderá por qué una puerta se cerró, por qué algo tardó tanto o por qué Dios permitió que el camino fuera diferente a como lo habías imaginado.

Es allí donde la fe comienza a profundizarse.

Una mujer que conoce a Dios aprende que Su fidelidad no depende de cuánto comprende de Sus caminos. Puede haber preguntas sin respuestas y, aun así, un corazón lleno de confianza.
No convierta aquello que todavía no entiende en una razón para alejarse del Señor. Acérquate más. Hay cosas que quizás Dios explique después, otras que comprenderá con el tiempo y algunas para las que quizá nunca tengas una respuesta completa. Pero en todas ellas, puedes descansar en una verdad: el carácter de Dios no cambia.
Hoy no le pida solamente explicaciones. Pídale una fe suficientemente profunda para decir: “Señor, aunque no comprenda este capítulo, sigo confiando en el Autor de mi historia.”
