The power of AI!

I am rubbish at visualising spaces, so the discovery that just standard chat GPT can do these visuals is a game changer!! This was just an initial draft of the hallway, but how but clever is that! 👏 now scurrying around all the other rooms and becoming slightly addicted now that planing has come through! … 😅

PLANNING APPROVED!! 👏

So excited that our planning has been approved with very few conditions!

Now the serious stuff begins… the last, and biggest reno, our legacy, here we go! ❤️

Planning permission 🤞

Obsessively refreshing the councils webpage to hopefully see the magic word ‘approved’

We are hoping to achieve something like this clever AI generated image and beautiful sketch, with a two storey oak framed extension which will give us a much more social kitchen dining space and another bedroom/bathroom

Fingers and toes are crossed and excited to begin our final forever home renovation! 🎉 🏡

Would also love to hear from anyone who has an oak frame or is also planning one!

TV on wheels! 🛞 📺

As the house was built in the 1640’s, naturally it doesn’t have the space for a huge TV!

So, we have hidden a little one in this cupboard which we have popped on a wheelie trolley, it still makes me laugh when we pull it out and it does its little squeak.. but I do love the quirkiness of it all 🤭

This is your sign to book that trip to Lapland ❄️ 🇫🇮

It doesn’t have to be crazy expensive if you book it yourself, and honestly its easier than you think and most definitely a trip you’ll never forget 🤍

A little corner of calm amongst the half term chaos!

Took a bag of plastic to the charity shop today in return for another bag of plastic 👍🏻 sound familiar…?!

Anyway, realised I haven’t posted since April! So well overdue, very pleased with my new cushions from @oka, just need to make sure the kids don’t go anywhere near them… 😂😅

Have a fun filled week ahead! 🎃

Garden overhaul 🪴

Still very much a work in progress, BUT we have come a long way from the forgotten, unloved and overgrown vegetable patches that were here before (see first photo from last year)

Sweetcorn, courgettes, strawberries and beans are in, just need to finish off the edible bed, keep watering, and hope for the best!! 🙏🪴🌽🍓
