Dear Lacrosse Families,
Sometimes this game gives us perspective.
Beyond the wins, losses, and playing time, we’re reminded what this is really about—raising strong, compassionate kids and building a community that shows up for one another.
A young player in our lacrosse community—a son, brother, teammate, and friend—has been diagnosed with leukemia. His family is beginning a long and difficult road, and they need all of us.
This is bigger than any game. This is about family.
Let’s rally around the Hayes family with support, prayers, and anything we can give.

This event gets me every year. HVLax is such a special organization, run by volunteers who put their hearts and souls into these kids and this town. The “big kid” HVLax alums who come back to help out, the youngest HVLaxers just starting their journey, all lend to the infectious spirit of the day. The annual 6th grade boys vs girls game was joyful as always - with the best coaches, refs, and kids. I loved just watching them play for FUN. The smiles said it all. I can’t believe it’s coming to an end, but I am so deeply grateful for this Huntington community. #bluedevilpride taken in Huntington High School (New York) by @htonvlax
