this year has been uhhhh so incredibly challenging!
i worked on 13 shows holy fuck, i fell in love, i began working at my favorite theatre company in the world, friendships grew closer and i grew stronger. im 24 now and i am very very very very tired. here’s to unnecessarily colorful shows and diving into the fucking deep end!!!!! by @https.amina

hello! announcement! i have joined the neo-futurist team as the lead technician! holy fuck!

the phrase “dream job” has meant very little to me but if, for the last few years, you had asked me to name something that felt like a dream job i would say this. yayayayay! i’m feeling very pinch me (and very very very very imposter syndrome! huge shoes! 36 epic years!) right now, but…

i believe that the neos are doing some of the most important artistic work in the city. their position as a hub for radical justice and liberation through honest theatre feels very inspiring to me. in the short time i’ve been here, their work has been filling me with energy and hope and purpose and focus and has been affirming my belief that young people have the OBLIGATION to do weird, big things. with the rolling news of ICE raids in chicago i’ve been finding it hard to feel like any theatre is worth my attention/time. it’s been very exciting to work in a space where im able to witness and collaborate on consciously meaningful work, where im able to alleviate that feeling just a tiny bit, where im reminded once again of the power of theatre. i feel so lucky to be a part of it.
HONESTY! BREVITY! CHANCE+RISK! TRANSFORMATION!

my debut in the infinite wrench will be march 27th! mark yer calendars! and i’ll be in through may 17! watch me press buttons! or don’t watch me… watch the stage. but know that i’m in there.
