I said I would do this meet the artist ahah

Hello ! I am Binggan (or biscuit) and I'm a digital illustrator comic artist and character designer working as a freelance artist trying to make my art career work despite being disabled.

I mainly enjoy doing fandom or oc content but occasionally post my work related commissions in my stories and highlights. Though rn I'm still working on my oc story ahah so more fandom oriented art is coming

My work mainly is inspired by Chinese manhua rendering as well as coloring but has personal touches here and there so it may not really look like my inspo, I draw pretty much everything from humans to furry and monsters.

I do have commissions open in my bio I play artfight every year and all my oc are on my toy house in bio too !

If you have more questions please feel free to ask that was only a small introduction to my account ahah. by @hua.binggan

Day 15 : The oldest of the lords personal servant, Song shanyi

Sòng ShànYì is a rather intriguing person, they never reveal anything about themselves , follows order at perfection not daring to miss a single detail, they are uncanny in a way, making other servants scury away whenever Shanyi is around. though Shanyi is very soft and kind, old and broken but always full of good intention.

Sòng ShànYì has been fenshao's assistant and servant since the moment he became lord of Yong yan. Not much is known about them, they stay rather mysterious and unbothered by socializing, their only close friends seems to be Miss Xian Hu serving under Mei Hailang and lady Qiao Zhi serving under Tu Liushi. Though Shanyi is diligent in their work their own morals sometimes are stronger.

Despite being the elder and teacher of the new servants in Yong yan temple, shanyi has always avoided Hun Xi the moment he stepped in the temple ground. Nobody knows why.

Day 14 : our beloved majesty Long fenshao !

Fenshao is the first lord to ever rule over a mountain and the one we have to thank for the sacred grounds, he's over one Millenium old and comes from the central plain but decided to leave his family behind to explore and stumbled upon the mountain chains and used his incredible power to shape it into what it is today. Fenshao is the lord of Yong yan the fire mountain and also usually the one who supervises everyone in court even the other lords turn to him for guidance, he's a powerful elder and loves teaching the newer generations, although Fenshao isn't really fond of humans he accepted their wish to settle on the sacred ground for protection, in return he gets guarantee that they won't hurt the natural balance.

Fenshao has never expressed any want to step down from his position and start a family or even just rest, he seems pretty happy with being in charge and the longer you stroke his ego the happier he is. He's very stoic and has that natural talent for leadership. Somehow he even seems to have some ties with the spirits.

Although Fenshao is a dragon his control over fire got even better after ascending to a lord, but he never leaves the mountain so he doesn't have any reason to showcase it, he just knows nobody would ever win a duel against him. Fenshao is pretty fond of Hun Xi for no apparent reasons.

Im pretty sure these were pretty important, wasn't Haoxin the first spirit to ever live in these moutains ? Where did fenshao put those archives..

....
Its almost like they suddenly vanished from existence.

Whatever i'll ask him later

Day 12 : Lady hailang the lord of tian hu !

Mei hailang is the lord of the water mountain and the second oldest behind fenshao being more than 700 years old she started ruling 500 years ago. She is a proud hulijing sneaky and will always have gossip to share. Hailang is pretty honest and confident, she cares about her duties and people enough to be nice to her subject but get on her bad side and you might be target for gossip for the next hundred year

Hailang has that motherly aura around her that makes most subject treat her as their mother or aunt, she's highly respected in court probably more than fenshao himself. She never really dreamt of being a mountain lord but her martial prowess made her first choice when the old lord stepped down.

She has the habit of flirting with mortals and seems to take love unseriously but only some people know that its because she had a complicated history with one mortal lover which is a taboo among magical beast. A taboo that she took down as the years passed.

Day 11 : let's talk about the court of the lords with Jingxiu !

Jingxiu is a very influent political guy from gen zhi the wood mountain. He often act as a bridge for the weak and in need to the court as he himself has lived a hard life. Jingxiu is blind (glaucoma) and has struggled with it since childhood though it went from stages to stages, thats why you can always see him squinting his eyes to try and see. He's a peacock magical beast and wish to one day become lord or Gen Zhi to offer a better life for people struggling like him. The way the court works is that every lord can step down and leave if they want but a general vote is issued to replace them with someone from the court or the court can defy one lord for his place. Strenght and politic is important to rule. The 5 lords hold their meeting with the court watching to make sure the people are heard.

Jingxiu is honest and generous but also self centered and harsh even if he works for other. Their high cultivation makes it easier to navigate life, they use cultivation to "see" by locating qi meridians and qi flow.

Being blind doesn't make him less of a good fighter, his trusty fan yi zhi is a very powerful weapon that was gifted to him by Zhu zi. Their relationship isnt a secret but nobody wants to meddle with it.

竟秀 : jìngxiù meanq competing to be the most beautiful

意志 : yìzhì means willpower/ determination (its the fan)

Day 10 : let's go back to the Mountains lord with Hu Shenqing the lord of Tie Shi the metal mountain.

Hu Shenqing is the youngest of all the lords she's only 100+ years old and has been ruling for only 50+ years. Lady Shenqing is an adept of medicine and martial arts, she spent all her years cultivating her core to grow stronger in a human form and work on her medicinal studies, resulting in her friendships being very superficial as she never took the time to talk to her friends or family before her ascension and now that she's busy ruling she has even less time for people she once loved. But thankfully she found a real friendship and family within the lords court and Hailang's ease to bring people together. She truly sees the other lords as her brothers and sister and as the only two women of the peaks Hailang and Shenqing get along even more.

Shenqing is by no mean the best ruler and she knows it, but her talent for medecine is needed especially when more and more sickness appears in the sacred grounds. Her broad build makes her a fearsome opponent too but she never takes her beast shape as she never trained in it.

Day 9 : Gao Feng ! Last disciple of Tian Hu sect I'll post I promise I'll move on from this sect bahaha

Gao Feng is Yurong's apprentice and a pretty special kid in the sect (I say kid but he's 18) it's not uncommon to be an orphan raised by the sect and Gao Feng is no exception but what makes him different is that he was brought in with Mei Hailang, the lord of Tian Hu herself with a blessing. Nobody knows why this kid in particular caught the attention of lady Hailang but the pressure put on Gao Feng's shoulder is immense. Yurong takes pride in having the blessed kid as her apprentice but she truly cares for him.

Gao Feng is rather clumsy and easily flustered, he's a nice kid and loves exploring he'd grown into an amazing scout for the sect. Despite having a token to lady Hailang's palace Gao Feng never had the courage to go see her, even if he knows she has a fate ready for him to follow.

Day 8 sorry for posting this late today was exhausting ahfbjz

This is the third member of Yurong's team : Ming Biezhi

Biezhi is a very mysterious kind of person, he never talks about himself too much, doesn't really engage with others and the only reason he is close to Yurong is because Renzhen forced him around, him and Renzhen are very close and you'll often catch Biezhi smiling all giddy around Renzhen which is very surprising to people who don't know them. Biezhi isn't someone mean he's actually very kind, but he was somewhat of an outcast, growing up with a mother from a place far away when she died he only had her pipa left and never picked up any other instrument, he stayed in the sect of tian hu despite being much more skilled in swordfighting. He often plays song his mother taught him to Renzhen.

命别致 : Mìng Biézhì means unusual/unique fate/life

Day 7 !! Whoo hoo a whole week done

Remember Rimu ? Well here is their twin Richu !

Richu is the spirit born of the cycle or the sun and typically called the morning spirit, they help nature grow and strive with the warmth they provide and are guiding every living being in the changes of seasons. Richu is very bright and has a natural warmth that would make you think they wouldn't go hard on anyone but the truth is that Richu takes their responsibility very seriously and does not dwell around the ones destroying the balance of life or disrespecting their work. Richu can hold grudges for a long time and actually harbor one for someone very important.

They typically adorn the form of a beast to navigate around to check on their duties and are considered a blessing if spotted.

I forgot to tell that on Rimu's post but Rimu is based on the osmanthus flower used to represent the moon and Richu is based on the chrysanthemums to represent the sun.

日出 : Richu means sunrise

Day 6 : today we are going to talk about the spirits with Rimu !

Rimu is the spirit born from the moon cycle and mostly refered to as the evening spirit. They mostly tend to the cycles of the tides and the life cycle of fauna and flora. Spirits do not meddle with life unless the natural balance is in danger so you dont see any of them at all. Not much is known about Rimu, they're very quiet and distant even to their beloved nature.

Rimu has a twin called Richu who is the morning spirit born of the cycle of the sun.

日暮 : Rimu means sunset

Day 5 ! Remember what I said about Yurong always hanging out with two friends ? Well here is Yurong's childhood friend : Ning Renzhen !

Renzhen is very quiet and nonchalant but extremely loyal to his sect and Yurong, their family being very close she's like a sister to him. He's also an immortal master but not as skilled as yurong. He seems cold at first but when you get to know him he will brighten your day for sure. His instrument is a guzheng ! Renzhen is very happy with laying low and staying in the background.

宁认真 : Níng Rènzhēn means peaceful and earnest
