POSTS STORIES REELS

(Belated post as I am known for..)
6/11/2026 - I graduated! I finally understand the significance of saying I'm Phinally Done 😂

Some of you knew I was in grad school and some of you probably wondered how I had so much time to host stuff all the time 😂 (No, CAs don't get paid.) the last 3-4ish months of the school year were crazy for me but I got through it 🥹

I was able to get through this program in part because of my CHPOGO community (+ fellow CA community too!). While some people (like my mother >_>) saw pogo as a distraction for me, I honestly feel like I wouldn't have survived without this community. Especially after we moved away from UCSB and then when we bought our house in Ontario--I was literally so lonely because we knew no one here and Wei just worked all the time 😂😭. Throughout the past three years, I was able to meet so many of you wonderful people who kept me (mostly) mentally sane, and I think that's a huge part of what made me able to complete my program. (Also more, but this is my CHPOGO post for now 😆😄).

Extra thank you to Lisa for coming out after my defense to celebrate with me 💐🐧 and Karen for the 🐱 🐱 🐱. Also thanks to friends who made it to my dissertation defense 🫶

PS. Should I change my username to DrHuay? 😂😂

Berry long song title 😄

Fun fact. We considered having our wedding ceremony on campus.. But then decided not to since it was extra money and traveling.
