Here’s how we scored last-minute Machu Picchu tickets in person in Aguas Calientes 👇

It’s a 3-day process and it involves handwritten numbers, early mornings, and a whole lotta waiting, but it works!

🎟️ ~1,000 last-minute tickets are released daily at the cultural centre

🚶‍♀️ Circuits 1 & 2 (the classic viewpoints) only get 250 tickets each

📍 We arrived on a Monday, bought on Tuesday, visited on Wednesday

5 things we wish we knew before going to the Galapagos! An extra tip: The Galapagos currently has entry fee of $200 USD. Make sure you have this in cash before you even fly since you’ll have to pay at Immigration once you land.

Helpful tips:

1. Lunch times are more available if you’re like us and book things a few days in advance. But prepare for a 3 hour experience and to have a long nap afterwards 😴

2. Wine pairings have 2 options, 35 USD or 55 USD. Calvin went for the cheaper one and thought it was 100% worth it because of the unlimited refills. He also discovered 2 of his favourite wines in the world!
