It’s a real consecration! @bramvanderbeke was awarded Designer of the Year 2026!
Your story is a coincidence that brought you to become an artist, mastering so beautifully steel and concrete works of art.
Happy to have met you 1st at @verlorenkost few years ago at a talk , where I couldn’t resist to buy a beautiful steel ornament now in my office.
Your style is unique, so accomplished and superb.
Well deserved to be Designer of the Year that will bring your work in the spotlight.
Also to mention your works actually on show at @rommelaerehub in a superb group show W/LD W/ND curated by @benedicte.goesaert , ongoing until 25.10.26

I was deeply impressed by some works seen at @xavierhufkens , @dongallery , @perrotin , @davidzwirner , @blankprojects and @gallerybaton .

The Fabric Decides
Edith Dekyndt superb expo and talk at @bozar in collaboration with Maison Balenciaga.
Curator @mariainesrodriguez_ was clever to bring together works created especially for this occasion or selected from Dekyndt’s earlier practice.
These elements resonate with the garments , accessories and samples of Maison Balenciaga, revealing connections between the two practices and their distinct approaches to the process of creation.
Superb, must see!

At Palazzo Grimani a superb solo by Amoako Boafo not to miss for sure.
Born in Ghana and represented by @gagosian , Boafo is master in painting figures with his hands, giving amazing contrasts in his paintings.
One of the highlights of this year off exhibitions next to the Biennial.
My sincere thanks to @chantal_pattyn who set up a very comprehensive tour in Venice for art aficionados.

In the heart of Ghent , now on show until Sunday, a very smart exhibition set up by @floderck and @aertsdora of @demain_art
I follow Florence pop up expos since 2020, choices of emerging artists are great , giving vivid support to the Art community in Belgium.
The present DEMAIN exhibition in collaboration with @belgium_sothebysrealty in a superb historic location at Nederpolder , Ghent

« When the Surface Thinks » is the title of coming solo exhibition of @zhangyunyao_alex at White Cube Hong Kong , opening on 30 October.
The exhibition will present large-scale abstract works, tight close-ups of carved heads and studies of classical statuary.
The artist practice is his use of graphite on felt, pure beauty, I had the chance to discover at Watou Festival in 2021, co-curated by @chantal_pattyn and @benedicte.goesaert
I follow Yunyao’s path since , admire his immense talent and wish to congratulate him for his achievements.
A solo in Hong Kong, close to his roots, is so rewarding, well done !

In good company at @fondazionedriesvannoten , a magical place in Venice.
@chantal_pattyn and Dries Van Noten lead us the way in his Fondazione , amazing decor and beauty all over!
The present exhibition will close doors today 4 of October for new artistic performances in 2y time.
For sure the highlight of our 4 days trip in legendary Venice.

Day I in Venice, a long awaited moment to view @venice.art.biennale with art aficionados guided by @chantal_pattyn , the best guide in town.
@punta_della_dogana and Academia delivered amazing solos by @lornasimpson , @paulonazareth_official and @marinaabramovic_______

It’s now time to view Giardini , the heart of the Biennial.

Let’s take a moment to congratulate Bénédicte d’Ursel, it’s your birthday!
Here in good company with @ldursel , my beloved son who met Bénédicte in 2019, it was pure love at once.
I remember somebody telling me: did you see Facebook? And yes, there he was with Bene with the quote “en couple”
You can imagine my surprise, and yes she was Loïc future wife.
I admire your paths, now Heritage Manager at @delvaux you can be acclaimed for your professionalism at Delvaux when you joined them in 2018.
Mother of 2 boys, Henry and Harold, filling our family with so much joy.
