I have never been a gym girl

The funny thing is, I’ve pretty much always had a gym membership. If you know, you know

Back when I was at CityFitness, I was so intimidated by the gym that I paid extra for a membership where I could bring a friend… and I still barely went because I was too scared to train on my own

Then covid happened. There wasn’t much else to do, so I started lifting weights here and there. The real turning point was last year when I did 75 Hard. (see last slide for progress photo during that time)

It forced me to show up every day, walk into the weights section by myself, and get comfortable training alongside all the big boys 😅

I’m still shy sometimes, and I definitely still have moments where I feel self conscious. But watching myself get stronger and build muscle has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve done physically and mentally 🤍 taken in Sydney, Australia by @hudademi
