@erwinwurm and @lehmannmaupin (technology by @huenetwork_ www.hue.live) bringing his sculpture to life via #AugmentedReality for @friezeofficial #Seoul edition.

Posted @withrepost • @lehmannmaupin Discover Erwin Wurm’s new sculpture ‘Ghost’ in augmented reality (AR), presented via our CollectAR platform.

Debuting in conjunction with the inaugural edition of Frieze Seoul, ‘Ghost’ features a flattened and anthropomorphized set of clothing and shoes (without a visible body), with a subtle, animated breeze rippling through the clothes. The work extends @ErwinWurm’s sculptural practice into the realm of technology and continues to pursue themes crucial to the artist’s visual and conceptual language, including absurdity versus the mundane, clothing as a second skin, and the body as sculptural medium.

At the crux of these concerns, and especially in digital format, Wurm questions the definition and pushes the possibilities of sculpture itself, and how the objects we interact with every day define us.

➡️ Activate the AR experience via link in bio. You can try it out anywhere in the world, no app download required.

HUE.LIVE uses AR (augmented reality) to give buyers and collectors a quick-look into how your Artworks look in their space in real-time. Mockups aren’t as efficient, take too much time to make, and can cause friction. Why this matters? You need a way to get artworks in front of buyers faster, easier (with tracking if possible), and ways to not forget about leads, optimizing followup. Automation is everything —not only to make more sales, but make doing business easier. Give your Collectors & prospective New Buyers a way to easily view your artworks on their wall, floor, or anywhere using their mobile phones. No app downloads needed, just a browser link from our platform. Copy and paste. Click, send. From the page link they'll be able to "Inquire to Purchase" or even "BUY NOW" (if you have an online shop) from any mobile device or computer. HUE.LIVE was built specifically for the art world to drive sales efficiently while saving time in the process...

USE CASE:
Imagine being able to select multiple artworks from your inventory list, then at the click of a button having options to:

1. Instantly make a unique Viewing Room of those artworks
2. Download a PDF of selected artworks instantly
3. Assign artworks to your Leads to record who likes what artworks, including auto-reminders via e-mail for you to contact them until it’s SOLD!

We'd like to convert your art pieces so you can fully experience how simple it is to use such a powerful tool as HUE.LIVE — Go to www.hue.live/demo today for a free live demo. #artsales #artificialintelligence #machinelearning #augmentedreality #huenetwork by @hue.live

The point of converting products into augmented reality AR is to give buyers the feeling of it in their space. This is especially useful for artworks such as sculptures, paintings, and even installations. This applies to furniture, appliances, clothing and accessories, also. Particularly for artworks, scale is important. Photographs don’t convey size or give collectors a real sense of the work. AR is the perfect tool for visualization. Our most recent collaboration with @akiinoue_tokyo for @nico_jullien’s solo show in Tokyo allows prospective collectors this ability to experience the artworks on their mobile phones or iPads. Tech giants like Apple, Meta, Google, and Samsung are heavily investing in AR devices and ecosystems for consumer, enterprise, and industrial applications. At @hue.live @huenetwork_, since 2020 we’ve been focused on helping businesses convert their products into 3-D augmented reality versions in preparation of the future of commerce. If you aren’t thinking about AR for your products, well, you should be. by @hue.live
