BOY JR. PART 2 - GREEN

If you haven’t seen my first post from this session, go do that now! But I’ll still repeat myself: I pitched @boyjrofficial the idea of projecting his super fucking cool drawings onto him for a photoshoot & he was down 🤙🏼

My goals with this session were to be weird & explorative, feel a little bit grunge, a little bit 90s, & a little bit what-the-fuck-ever while also incorporating my signature focus on color, & representing Boy Jr.’s aesthetic. I think we nailed it.

As someone whose visuals are often inspired by music, I LOVE working with musicians & I LOVE turning an artist into art! I love taking an element of someone’s creativity & incorporating it into a photographic representation of them 😍

As I said on the first post, I’m going to be sharing images from this session in chunks based on color 🌈

A while back I approached @boyjrofficial with an idea: “what if we projected your drawings onto you for a photo session?” This is part 1 of the results 🫠😮‍💨😍

We collaborated on wardrobe, props, accessories, and which drawings to project.

I’m melting over the results 🫠 I’m so grateful for friends who are down to creatively experiment with me. I love working with musicians & I love turning an artist into art!

I’m going to be sharing images from this session in chunks based on color 🌈
