‘Grounding through the Bizarre’ 🪽🍎 ~ Becoming an extension of the forest ~ My degree show piece for Textiles in Practice at MSoA. An interactive wearable sculpture, designed to reground humans back into their surroundings in an increasingly busy and distracted world. All knitting and trinkets are by me! Dress and striped branches made from combed and mercerised cotton, on a combination of domestic knit machine and the Shima Seiki. All trinkets are made from found objects, small visual poems adorning the knit.
