“Wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you live, I will live; your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me, and do so severely, if anything but death separates you and me.” — Ruth 1:16-17 Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell coming soon💛💍 by @hugh.grandon
2025 has been full of Gods faithfulness! So thankful for all the people God has placed in my life to show me what Christ-like love looks like. 2026 will be a whole new year but we can trust our God will remain the same, continuing to work out all things for good to those who love him! Romans 8:28 Cheers to seeking the kingdom first in 2026! 🎉 by @hugh.grandon

Today me and mama finished 312 days of intensive chemotherapy, and wow what a crazy journey it has been. Luke 15:3-7 Truthfully I wish I could say I spent this entire experience of leukemia trusting and leaning on God. But many times over and over again I found myself a sheep in some very dark valleys. But I can testify that even when you feel lost and scared in those dark valleys, the good Shepard steps into that valley and searches endlessly and tirelessly until he finds you. When he finds you he doesn’t make you walk back, no he picks you up on his shoulders and he carries you out. When he finally has you again he isn’t angry or bitter with you and he doesn’t scold you for being lost, he simply rejoices to have you again. Over and over again I found myself being carried by Christ out of some of my darkest valleys. When I was sick my girlfriend reminded me of the story of the woman who was healed simply by touching the thread of Jesus’s garment. She told me if you’re hanging on by a thread, may it be the thread of his garment. Praise be to the king of kings who has delivered me from leukemia and has made my body cancer free for 10 months now. 🧡 (Jesus I pray you give me a full head of hair again🙌) by @hugh.grandon
On August 23rd, exactly one day before I was meant to leave for college to study ministry I was diagnosed with Cancer. Or for more of an exact diagnosis, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). The news as you can imagine was very heavy and a complete shock to me and all my loved ones. Today I will finally leave the hospital after being admitted 3 weeks prior. But this season in my life which may seem on the outside to be one of sorrow and pain has not been at all. Instead the lord has helped me find reasons to be GRATEFUL and JOYFUL in my suffering! One way has been through all the love and support I have received. My family putting life on pause, making sure not a single moment passed where I was alone. Family flying out, spending countless hours driving to be by my side. All the love and support me and my family received back home through meals and financial support had been unbelievable. I’m thankful to all my roommates who have gotten me through all the extremely hard nights (mom, grandma, and sisters). I’m thankful for all the visits, prayers, texts, phone calls, letters, etc. The outpouring of love on to me was overwhelming in the best way and encouraged me more than anyone knew! For all of this I am so grateful! The Lord was my COMFORT! How comforting it is to know there is a God who loves his children so much that it brings him great sorrow to see them sick and in suffering. The Lord was my PEACE! My God is the God of victory today, yesterday and forever! He will take this situation I am in and use it for his glory and his good! That’s what he always does. WHY? Because he is ALWAYS the God of victory! My God is a healer! The Great physician! Jehovah-Rapha! My savior Christ Jesus is my JOY! Jesus conquered sin and death! Defeated the Grave! And he took on the greatest suffering of all, one I will never even come close to experiencing. Jesus willingly laid down his life and endured all that suffering joyfully on our behalf before, during and after the cross. Surely I can go through this suffering with Joy for him! Sickness will have no claim over my body in Jesus Name! 🧡 by @hugh.grandon
We didn’t meet in high school, and we might not have known each other our entire lives. But ever since I could comprehend love, I have prayed for someone like Lizzy. We lived 23 minutes from each other our entire lives and never met until God brought us together. He had been preparing me to meet you.
