I got an ice beard going out for a fat bike ride on the first. Good way to start the year. The ice really blends into the grey beard.

Gone fishing again. Thinking about what I like about fishing recently. The easy answer is it is an excuse to spend time at places like Ludlowville falls. Also it is a puzzle to find fish and then entice them fall for your tricks. It is cool to see the stream at different times of the year as well. The pockets that these trout were in will only be a few inches deep in the summer and totally washed out in high water. I like how it forces me to pay attention to nature a little more I think is the ultimate answer. by @hughwallace3

Me and little H left the snow behind for some family and Mountain time in VA. Had a good trip. Nice to get the @ovrlndcampers out for an early trip this year. Although the day was 50 degrees the morning got down to 20. Enough blankets to stay warm but getting out of bed took extra motivation. by @hughwallace3
