Closing 2025 with a recap of two workshops in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi - a collaboration between @artefaktofficial and @humane_bookings @hanoiundergroundmovement , with special support from the Embassy of the Netherlands in Vietnam.Both workshops were successfully held, giving us the chance to meet, connect, and exchange knowledge with our community. Designed for performers, producers, and anyone exploring the world of hardware-based live shows, this session connects technique, mindset, and musical intuition.Explore creative performance techniques with Artefakt through a practical, in-depth look at their current live set. Drawing on over a decade of experience performing as a duo, in collaborative improvisations, and as solo acts, they’ll share how their approach to live performance has evolved over time.You’ll be guided through their technical setup and the thinking behind it, exploring how considered hardware choices, deliberate limitations, and a flexible, pre-prepared structure can create space for flow and improvisation in performance. In an interactive setting, you’ll see these principles in action - how to balance flexibility with planning, design a setup that supports real-time creativity, and keep each show unique and engaging.The session also looks at maintaining focus and finding flow under shifting conditions - from late-night hours to unpredictable technical environments - and will help participants develop approaches for their own setups.
