🐾 PET OF THE WEEK 🐾

NAME: Steven
ID#: C26-0286
AGE: 5 months
SEX: Male, neutered
BREED: Domestic Short-Hair
COLOR: Brown/Grey Tabby
WEIGHT: 6 pounds
Known health issues: None

Meet Steven, a sweet, gentle little cat with a big story and an even bigger heart. After being hit by a car in Brawley, he underwent surgery to repair his leg, including having a temporary pin placed. Today, Steven is fully healed and ready to find his forever home! While he is still regaining full strength and use of his leg, he is wonderfully content to relax, watch the world go by, and quietly purr when held or petted. Steven thrives in a peaceful indoor-only home, where he can continue building confidence safely. He gets along beautifully with calm, well-behaved animals, but energetic pets may be overwhelming. A home without young children who may struggle to be gentle is best for now. Steven enjoys toys, people, and one delightful daily burst of play before settling back into his cozy cat house. This mellow, loving observer would make a wonderful companion!

If you would like to set up an appointment for a meet and greet with Steven, please call the shelter during our business hours, or email us at ivhumanesociety@gmail.com. Meet and greets are by appointment only. Steven’s adoption fee is only $50.

Adoption benefits include:
- Up to date on vaccinations
- Microchipping
- Spay/Neuter
- FIV/FeLV tested
- One FREE wellness check with Desert Veterinary Group.

Meet Liberty, our star-spangled Pet of the Week! Born on the Fourth of July, this adorable three-month-old kitten has been sparkling from day one. After her mother abandoned her shortly after birth, Liberty was lovingly bottle-fed by people, and it shows in her wonderfully friendly personality.
