In 2017 @taralong.overdraft.fee took a chance and added me to the III Points roster. I ended up playing two nights. Many won’t comprehend the absolute insanity and graciousness it takes to expose what I do to a crowd that insanely large. At that point, festival was so large. I hadn’t played ANYTHING that big. I must have called Tara half a dozen times just trying to find out what door to enter from or what building for that matter. Nervous is an understated term for that weekend. Picture it: some asshole from pompano beach gets invited to play harsh noise at a massive music festival in a “cool” part of Miami. I was in shambles. So nervous, I met no one I didn’t already know and stayed in corners of massive rooms in fear even though I could go anywhere. @adamgersten gave me free pizza and I got to play right after the XX. A crown poured into the room and saw me. Just some dick getting wrecked by his friends. It was magic and I am very fortunate. The next year, Tara booked me w/Yves Tumor at the ground. She believed in me. I hope to play III POINTS again some day. It’s a beautiful feeling to be part of its history. @iiipoints started today. It’s a festival I believe in that truly does expand many horizons in music. If you have the means, I definitely recommend attending. You get what you pay for. You ever walk into a room and feel your shoulders relax for the first time in forever? That happened to me on Monday night… then on Saturday I challenged my comfort zone and did a thing (and had a mini panic attack in a green chair) Being a creator/artist/what-the-fuck-ever offers plenty of expansions in reality. It’s weird but I like weird. Anyway, hiatus over. Time to finish these noise releases. by @humanfluidrot

I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting lately regarding my “art” or “hobby” or “music”… whatever offensive term you’d like to call what I do… I’m so lucky. I always hunger for more of it. I never tire of it. It feeds what some would call a soul. It makes me think outside of every box. It allows me to create on my own terms at any/all times. It gives me control. I always want more. I want more crowd participation. I want more intensity. I want it all… and I’ll get it which is an incredible feeling on its own. I feel my body lock up and my organs expand at every performance. I wish my heart would just explode. What else could provide that feeling? How lucky am I to feel it? Just typing this makes me want to get hit with a chair, dogpiled or pushed forcefully into something not meant to hold me up. This is what makes me feel inevitable and after 21 years, it’s made me stronger in mind and body. This is the thing that makes me confident. This is my food. That said; hey! Come out to a show sometime and knock me around a lil or just say hi and take a gander. I know it may be dumb to some people but this is my life force and I’m more passionate than you are about your “thing”… yeah that’s a threat. Come push me around about it OR let’s talk about yours sometime. That’s fun! by @humanfluidrot

It’s bandcamp Friday. This track is free and it’s (obviously) dedicated to my friend Geordan. I use a lot of the gear Geordan and Bob came up with on the recording. We miss you bud. Respect is something that is so vast. It truly involves compassion, understanding, patience and love. You gotta listen in life. Of course, there’s different ways to earn respect. That goes without saying. It’s a gift. Life is good. Im so fortunate to have people in my life that respect me, my art and my boundaries. The only gift I can give in return is that same respect.
Last night was beautiful. Every day can be in its own way. I love laughing and feeling close to people. That in itself is truly a gift. by @humanfluidrot
