Acoustic Concert #5
Hosted at @popup.emaus.arroios

Wednesday 7th of October we have a duo-day acoustic concert with two performances from two sets of two. All performers come from different backgrounds but share the commonality of music.

Pivo & Vomhai @pivonves @v0mhai
Together for a collaborative live set, blending Pivo’s original songs, inspired by Brazilian and international music and moving between Rap, Indie, Rock and Brazilian popular music, with Vomhai’s soulful approach to Pop and R&B and his fingerstyle acoustic guitar playing. Two different musical backgrounds coming together on the same stage for an intimate and diverse set.

Jianan Hua & Paul-Énéour @jianan.hua @peytaclop
After years of traveling, performing, and absorbing the music of the world, Frenchman Paul-Énéour Yvon and Chinese musician Jianan Hua crossed paths on the streets of the Portuguese capital. Amidst improvised melodies and musical conversations, they discovered a common language that transcends borders and words. Together, they create music without a passport. Their compositions travel across continents, blending influences from China and Japan with West African rhythms, Middle Eastern melodies, and echoes of the Andes mountains.

Doors at 19h30, music starts from 20h and finishes at 22h.

Suggested donation for artists:
5€ (includes 1 superbock) or pay what you can.

A singer-songwriter and facilitator of authentic expression. Through music, voice, and presence, she creates spaces that invite people to meet themselves more honestly - to soften, feel, express, and reconnect with what is alive within.

Salvatore Cortone @salharmonica
A full-time harmonica player, multi-instrumentalist, and educator with a lifelong passion for music. Hailing from Calabria, Italy, playing a variety of genre as well as a fusion of traditional and modern music from his region.
