When designing these posters, the first tought was 1) To bring forth each color of the rainbow bands individually and 2) to keep the modernism aspect that characterized the 1974 Worlds.

The last time Montreal hosted the Cycling Worlds was in 1974. More than fifty years later, it is once again time to welcome athletes from all over the world for a full week of racing in the heart of the city.

The event already has a full graphic identity but the appeal to try and make most of this unique opportunity and develop an alternative one was just too strong to ignore.

Over the next few posts, the full range of elements that were created as an alternative branding will be shared, beginning here with the logotype.
