Hello Human.

A little introduction into why Human Project Coffee exists.

Across South Africa we are pushing harder than ever. I am too here in centurion.

And yet I want more than productivity.

Join in with a bag of your own.

We believe Coffee should slow us down.

It should not speed us up.

In a world that is constantly asking us to move faster, coffee can be something different.

A pause.

A breathe.

A moment to return to yourself.

This is what @humanprojectcoffee is about. by @humanprojectcoffee

The lie of corporate is that coffee is meant to energize you so you can be more productive for them.

Not true!! Coffee should slow us down.
It should allow you to think more deeply.
It should be a reprieve from the rat race.
It should allow for humans to be more human.

This morning savour your coffee as a form of resistance.

Today the world celebrates coffee.
We celebrate what it makes possible.
The pause. The presence. The connection.
The three minutes that belong entirely to you.
Happy International Coffee Day.
Make it a slow one. ☕

Your inbox will still be full.
The deadline will still be there.
The meeting will not move.
But for three minutes —
the cup does not care.
And neither should you.

We have been sold the idea that slowing down
costs us something.
It does not.
It gives back everything the rush took.
Your mornings. Your clarity.
Your presence. Yourself.
Three minutes before the world starts.
One cup. One decision.

Heritage Day is not just about where we come from.
It is about who we are becoming.

Today: slow down.
Sit with someone you love.
Share a cup.
Remember your roots.
Be more human.

Happy Heritage Day South Africa. 🇿🇦

Your choice.
Burundi or Tanzania.

They are both delicious.
They will both help you slow down.
They will also aid in great connection.

The grind is not going anywhere.
Neither is the bread.
But you: present, rested and intentional will get it better.
One cup. Choose differently.

Lanél’s morning.
Burundi Kayanza in the cup.
Fine china. A Pebbles grinder. Warm light.
This is what single-origin looks like
when it finds its home.
In a latte that deserves to be sipped slowly.
You too can enjoy the type of coffee that makes you slow down in your home.
