Pelo segundo ano, o Terracota trouxe a arte de volta aos espaços da Casa Baiana. 🎨🌿

Uma conexão bonita com a história desta propriedade, onde a arte e a cerâmica já tinham seu lugar pelas mãos de Leila Salum.

Entre artistas, cerâmica, música, gastronomia e tantos encontros, a casa recebeu mais uma vez a abertura do Terracota, celebrando a criatividade e a cultura que fazem parte de Trancoso.

Obrigado a todos os artistas, parceiros, amigos e a quem esteve com a gente nessa noite.

For the second year, Terracota brought art back into the spaces of Casa Baiana. 🎨🌿

A meaningful connection to the history of this property, where art and ceramics once had a special place through the work of Leila Salum.

With artists, ceramics, music, food and plenty of good company, Casa Baiana once again hosted Terracota's opening event, celebrating the creativity and culture of Trancoso.

Thank you to all the artists, partners, friends and everyone who joined us.

 Letting my hands become a bridge between what is seen and what is felt.

I’ve been exploring a new way of painting lately. Who knew paint markers are so much fun?

These compositions begin with photographic references I’ve taken Key West and in my travels and I love the idea of slowing down and really looking at something I’ve already seen a hundred times—the shape of a flower, the way the leaves overlap, a particular color—and finding something new in it through paint.

A am also a girl who loves working in a series. There’s something meditative about returning to the same idea again and again, letting each piece become its own little world while still belonging to something larger.

So I’ve given myself a goal: 108 paintings.

108—a number with a sense of devotion, repetition, and practice. I’m not sure exactly where this series will take me, and that’s part of what I love about it.

For now, I’m just following the color, the flowers, the places I love…the charm trail of life!
