IDK who needs to hear it but...Stop 👏Designing 👏 For 👏 Yourself. You might love that colour, font, or layout. Cool. But remember, your brand isn't you–so what you might like might not necessarily be what your audience likes. Design isn’t a mood board for your taste. It’s how your brand talks to the people it’s built for. Every choice; words, visuals, tone, should land with them. Funny how the work got better the further I took it from a desk. The whole studio started because I went to Thailand for a holiday a few years ago and decided I wanted to stay another month. So I found a client. Then another one. Somehow that became Humid, and somehow Humid became my actual full-time job. Everything since has been some version of the same trade: choosing the work that lets me keep choosing this. A logo is a starting point. It's not a brand. A brand is the full experience; the way your grid feels when someone lands on it for the first time, the way your proposal looks, the way your pricing page makes them feel like they'd be lucky to get a spot.
