He actually did it! 17 days, all the way from Hamburg to Munich.

First day done!

About two weeks ago, our friend @daniel.iga_ told us about his plan: to jog from Hamburg to Munich in under 20 days. Why not?

Together, we came up with an idea: how cool would it be if everyone could follow the run live? See where he is at any moment, cheer him on, share moments, and support him with little gifts.
And barely two weeks later, Trax went live today.
Thanks to everyone who joined in and supported Daniel.

Dear Pope Leo XIV, we agree.

Data, especially from us people, has since the beginning of the internet been in the hands of private companies and corporations. The human never had any say in it ... the only thing possible: to block the tracking, which meant refraining from better experience, more comfort in the digital world.

And AI? A massive accelerant. Sam Altman (OpenAI) recently said in the Core Memory podcast by Ashlee Vance that the AI models are not far away from knowing everything about their users. And we must agree, it’s an unavoidable future.

Assuming the AI knows everything about us, the important question for me becomes: who owns the data.

The big corps, as it has always been, OR every single human? Owning their own personal data and deciding for themselves who they give it to AND who they don’t. We prefer the latter, and if we interpret the pope correctly, he might agree.
