Fixed rates are not about proving you can outsmart the bank. Sometimes the value is simply certainty.

Knowing what the repayment will be. Knowing what your cash flow looks like. Knowing you can sleep at night if rates move again.

That’s why the right answer isn’t always fixed or variable. Sometimes it’s a split. Sometimes it’s staying flexible. It depends on the person, the portfolio and what gives them enough room to keep moving.

Construction finance is tightening, with lenders pulling back, LVRs dropping and plenty of projects suddenly finding funding harder to secure. The good news?
