Light ‘Em Up Mac 9.46/10- so delicious. 2.25 lbs of whole Maine lobster tossed in Mac and cheese w truffle. This was so filling but also irresistible. The truffle truly made all the difference with the rich flavor

Wagyu Platinum Ranch Cowboy Ribeye 9.78/10- 24 oz Australian wagyu ribeye. This was scrumptious. The ribeye literally melts in your mouth and is buttery at the best extent. Garlic taste also made it perfection! The mashed potatoes served with it were also so good. My only complaint is that it could have been more warm however it was still so good.

Lobster pop tarts 9.89/10- Maine lobster baked into a puff pastry with hollandaise sauce. Wow this was incredible. It came as an appetizer and was so rich in flavor. The flakiness of the pastry literally melts in your mouth as well as the lobster. I enjoyed this so much however it just made very full and I do believe the lobster portion could have been a bit bigger.

Popcorn shrimp 8.32/10- delicious however a bit lukewarm and honestly I enjoyed everything else ordered so much more.

Diamonds are forever cocktail 9.67/10- citrus vodka with a basil and vodka popsicle. This was so good however honestly very strong

Poppin cherry pie 8.85/10- okay wow this was insane they literally gave us an entire pie, two small pies, a bunch of pie crust, and icecream with pie crumble. So delicious however I’m not a cherry pie fan but even then it was still a high rating from me so..

Buddhalicious cocktail 9.88/10- pear vodka with lychee and cran and a pear vodka popsicle!! This tasted so delicious highly recommend also the Buddha is so cute

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The experience you get is truly like no other and their food presentation is incredible. However I do believe that since Covid, they have gone down in food quality. Still a great experience and I did have a great time for dinner. I do highly recommend this place if you’re willing to spend $$ and want a fun experience. taken in Barton G. The Restaurant Los Angeles by @hungrytamale

The Bam Bam by @bambambaklava 10/10- icecream soft serve infused with Rice Krispies treats, Cookie Crisp, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Kit Kat, crushed Oreo, and marshmallow charms. This icecream was SO good. Honestly I was slightly skeptical about the mix of cereals actually making this a fire combination but it was phenomenal. You could actually taste every cereal within every bite and it was not overwhelming at all. I was conflicted between the other flavors but I’m so happy I went with this one. It also had the most toppings I liked. It was creamy, decadent, and sweet with mini bites of cereal. The portion size was also so big!! It is a bit pricey for icecream however I think it’s worth. I’m not a HUGE icecream fan I prefer gelato but this hands down was just as good and definitely my new favorite icecream (sorry Ben n Jerry’s milk and cookies). Also the concept of infusing everyday cereal into soft serve is pretty cool. I do wish they had icecream with Krave cereal because that would go off

I have been waiting to try KITH icecream for the longest time since it’s cereal infused. This special is their most popular of their creations but all their other flavors also sound so good. Will definitely be coming back here and will probably try another flavor though this one was so good. Their milkshakes also sound delicious! Give me a kith 😚🍦 by @hungrytamale

Ginger & Scallion Lobster w/ Noodles 10/10- this was so good & had SO much flavor. The lobster pieces were large, tender & perfectly cooked, & you could taste the ginger & scallion in every bite without it overpowering the lobster. The noodles were garlicky & a good complement to it.

Lobster Har Gow 9.46/10- I have never seen a restaurant have lobster har gow before so I found this super unique! The wrapper was thin & delicate, & they give a pretty good amount of lobster inside. They also give you a dropper to inject the har gow w/ lobster butter, which makes it so fun to eat.

Black Truffle Duck Fried Rice 8.86/10- I really wanted their peking duck, but they had run out. The rice itself was so good & had a strong truffle flavor. They gave a lot of duck in the rice which I loved, but I felt the duck was a bit dry. The flavor was still there, I just wished it was juicier.

Chili Garlic Prawns 9.28/10- this was a special & we really enjoyed it! The prawns were huge & had such a good garlicky kick w/ a little heat from the chili. We did have to peel them ourselves which I hate bc it’s so messy, but this was worth it.

Veggie Spring Rolls 8.72/10- these were good! I loved how crisp they were on the outside & the filling was fresh & not greasy.

Jasmine Jade Tea 10/10- I absolutely love their tea & I feel like it’s criminal to not get tea w/ dim sum. Even in 100°F weather I still enjoy having it w/ my meal. It’s light & floral.

Palette is one of my family’s favorite restaurants in OC. It’s a fancy take on dim sum but every dish is so flavorful & unique. We’ve been going since their soft opening week & the food has been consistently phenomenal, even as their menu has expanded. The service is amazing too. It gets super busy so I’d def make a reservation & go early, they sell out of a lot of items. My family normally gets their ginger & scallion crab & soup dumplings but those were already gone for the day. taken in Palette Dim Sum 彩碟 by @hungrytamale

Breakfast Burrito 9.88/10- this is one of my favorite breakfast burritos, it’s made w/ cheddar scrambled eggs, tater tots, & your choice of meat. I love to get the pastrami but they also have bacon, beef chorizo, & avocado (vegetarian) as an option. The tater tots are perfectly crisp on the outside but soft on the inside, & I love the texture it adds to the whole burrito. The eggs are so fluffy & the cheddar melts into them perfectly, & the pastrami is so flavorful & salty in the best way. This breakfast burrito is soo good & super filling, I feel like this is two meals, I usually end up saving half for later. The tortilla is also perfect, it’s grilled just enough that it holds everything together w/o falling apart but still stays soft, not dry or chewy at all. The only thing is I wish their green salsa on the side was better, I find it to be a little bland & kind of watery. I think a hotter salsa or even a hot chipotle aioli would be perfect to pair w/ this.

Matcha Einspänner 10/10- one of my favoriteee places to grab matcha & they use Rocky’s ceremonial grade matcha! The matcha color is insane, so vibrant & green. I love how the einspänner makes it sweet, it’s got that cold cream top that slowly melts into the matcha as you drink it, so you get this really nice balance of sweet cream & earthy matcha in every sip. It tastes like a dessert honestly. I’m not a fan of matcha that’s bitter or grass tasting & I always try to mention that while ordering, bc sometimes ordering matcha can be a gamble. This one though is exactly what I look for, smooth & sweet w/o any of that bitterness.

This is actually one of my go-to spots, I absolutely love it here. Honestly I wanted to gatekeep this place bc Community Goods was my go-to spot & the wait time can be 2 hours, but this place is just sooo good & deserves all the love. The staff is also incredible & I always feel so welcomed & excited to come here. I also recently found out it’s run by the same owners as Trophies Burgers which is awesome!

Coconut Mango Boom 8.86/10- I got the slushy version w/ jasmine green tea, which is what they recommend, & half sweetness, & I loved this. It’s so refreshing & the perfect amount of sweetness, not overly sugary at all. The coconut, mango, & sago all pair so well together & I love how fresh this tasted, like you could really taste real fruit & not just syrup. They also have mango & coconut jelly in it, which was delicious & added such a nice chew. All the textures in the drink are so fun too, it honestly feels like a dance party in your mouth in the best way, from the sago to the jelly to the slush itself. The mango is also so sweet & ripe, & the portion size is huge. This drink has gone super viral & I can definitely see why.

This place normally has a very long line, sometimes the wait can be 45 minutes, especially if you go during peak hours. I’d suggest ordering ahead, they have a HeyTea app which is so helpful for that. The location itself is really nice though, I like to walk around Rodeo while I wait for my order. This was actually their first West Coast location in the US too, so it makes sense why it’s been so packed. taken in HEYTEA by @hungrytamale

Chinese Chicken Salad 8.86/10- made w/ pulled chicken, romaine, cabbage, crisps, scallion, sesame seed, & peanut dressing, they gave a lot of pulled chicken which I really enjoyed. This was also perfectly dressed, not soggy or dry at all, & I love how the peanut dressing had that perfect balance of nutty & slightly sweet w/o being overpowering. The crisps on top gave it such a good crunch.

Okinawa Vanilla Matcha Latte 9.24/10- made w/ matcha, brown sugar, vanilla, & cold foam, this was so good. They use Cha Cha Matcha, so the matcha flavor was rich & not bitter at all. The brown sugar gave it a very light caramel flavor, & the vanilla rounded it out so well. The cold foam on top made it so smooth & creamy. taken in Croft Alley Beverly Hills by @hungrytamale

It’s Kind Of A Big Dill 15/10- quite literally one of the best drinks I have ever tried, wow. The cucumber & dill-infused gin gave it this crisp, garden-like freshness, & the ginger added a nice little bite w/o being overpowering. Elderflower brought a subtle floral sweetness while the apple cider balanced it all out. Every sip was perfect and I love how refreshing it is

Moroccan Cigars 8.76/10- basically a spring roll stuffed w/ lamb & chicken, so flavorful & you could really taste both meats coming through. The garlic honey glaze had this great sweetness against the kick of heat in the sauce, & the toum crema tied it all together

Lamb Hummus 15/10- absolutely incredible & def my favorite tapa at Bacari so far. Braised ground lamb on top of hummus, served w/ the softest fluffiest pita ever. So tender & lamb forward in the best way. They only give you 2 slices of pita though, so def order more if you’re w/ a group

Asian Pear & Brie Pizza 9.42/10- everything paired together so perfectly. The brie was so creamy & rich, & the pear gave such a perfect crunch & hint of sweetness against the saltiness of the cheese. Dough is fantastic too, thin & crispy in all the right places

Tripoline Pasta 8.36/10- handmade pasta w/ a pasilla pepper cream & romesco sauce, so creamy & nutty w/ a slight spicy kick. Coated every piece of pasta perfectly & packed w/ so much flavor

Tuscan Kale Salad 8.78/10- so good & refreshing, especially w/ all the carbs we ordered. The kale tahini dressing was creamy w/o weighing it down, & the za’atar & sumac gave it such a nice earthy kick

Mad Mango Sour 7.64/10- honestly wasn’t sour enough & was missing more spice for me. Didn’t taste much mango, more so carrot, but did enjoy the refreshing carrot juice flavor

I am a huge Bacari stan, they have the best tapas and it’s always a fun environment. The service is also amazing and there’s something for everyone on the menu. Their drinks are also so good, I feel like you really can’t go wrong with the menu taken in Bacari Beverly Hills by @hungrytamale

Crab Cakes 20/10- one of my favorite dishes in life ever. I always post these bc they never miss. The crab cakes are so buttery & you get actual jumbo lumps of real crab meat in every single bite, so it tastes like real crab & not just filler. There’s no fishy taste at all, just sweet, fresh crab. The panko breading on the outside is perfectly golden & crispy, & it holds everything together without ever overpowering the crab. Every bite is so rich & flavorful & I honestly could eat these every day. They come w/ coleslaw but I always sub the emerald cashew kale salad on the side & they did it perfectly this time. It’s finely chopped kale & cabbage tossed w/ fresh mint & cilantro, then topped w/ toasted cashews & sesame seeds in a sesame miso vinaigrette. I love the crunch from the cashews & how fresh & flavorful it is. It’s so good w/ the crab cakes bc it cuts through all the butter.

Heavenly Biscuits 9.72/10- these are soo good. They have rosemary in them, are baked from scratch & come out piping hot, which is when they’re the best. They’re perfectly flaky on the outside & so soft & buttery on the inside. I love them w/ the butter & honey they bring to the table, the honey w/ the rosemary is such a good combo. Definitely one of our favorite apps but very filling.

Tres Leches 20/10- one of my favorite desserts ever (specifically from here). We always get it w/o the whipped cream & caramel syrup. The cake is so light & fluffy & I love how it’s soaked in condensed milk. Even though it’s light, the flavor is still so rich & decadent. The fruit is the perfect balance w/ it & I love how it’s always served fresh. Even w/o the caramel syrup you still get a little bit of caramel flavor taken in Gulfstream Newport Beach by @hungrytamale

Spicy Tuna On Crispy Rice 12/10- this is quite literally the best spicy tuna on crispy rice I’ve ever had. The crispy rice temperature was perfect, warm all the way through w/ the perfect crisp to it. Honestly the consistency reminded me of a hash brown if that makes sense, which is INSANE, like so good. It’s also made w/ truffled avocado which took it to another level. The spicy tuna portion was huge too & it was so fresh & delicious, & the jalapeño slice gave it the perfect kick. Normally I find crispy rice overpowers the spicy tuna but this was such a perfect balance.

Shrimp Tacos 9.18/10- these were honestly so good, such a great mix of flavors in every bite. What surprised me most was the corn tortillas, they weren’t dry at all which almost never happens w/ corn tortillas. The tacos themselves were huge & so were the shrimp, loved that they used tiger shrimp instead of the small ones. The slaw gave it a nice crunch on top, & there was actually a kick of spice to these that caught me off guard in the best way.

Chips And Guacamole 8.68/10- got this for taco tuesday too & the chips were so good & so addicting. The guac has truffle in it which made it so decadent, & they don’t skimp on the portion either. It paired perfectly w/ the shrimp tacos, & they keep the chips coming too. The chips were perfectly crisp, almost similar to wonton chips, & such a good match w/ the guac

I love Beverly Bar. I actually thought it was part of Hillstone group (one of my favorite restaurant groups, if not my favorite) by how good the quality is, but I was surprised to find out it’s not, it’s actually independently owned! This place is always busy for good reason, but I’d def suggest making a reservation before you go. You’re also very likely to run into people you know here, yet the ambiance is so perfect that it still feels intimate. Honestly this restaurant reminds me of a place you’d see in Sex and the City- perfect for a girls night. Definitely one of my favorite spots in BH & the service is also so good. taken in Beverly Bar by @hungrytamale

Beef Koobideh Kabob 12/10- this is actually one of my favorite dishes in LA, I have this basically once a week. Definitely one of the best koobidehs I’ve ever had. It’s incredibly juicy & tender, & the portions are also huge, I feel like this is 4 meals. I always sub the white rice for loobia polo which is my favorite rice, it’s made w/ ground beef, green beans, tomato paste & basmati rice. It is SO flavorful & it’s perfect w/ the koobideh. I also love the grilled tomato, onions, & bell peppers w/ it. They also make the kabob very buttery but it’s not overwhelmingly buttery.

Masto Moosir 9.87/10- this is my favorite app to get here. It’s yogurt mixed w/ chopped shallots & it’s perfect w/ the lavash bread they give to start. I love adding mint & red onions to it as well, it makes it even more refreshing. Also a great complement to the koobideh platter.

Their Persian hot tea is also my favorite but it’s been too hot to get lately, however I do recommend it. This is my favorite Persian restaurant in LA, I love this place & crave it at least 3 times a week no joke. Their stews are also very good (especially their fesenjoon). This restaurant is always packed, for a reason! But even w/ that their service is amazing & the food is consistently good. Shoutout Hannah for putting me on. taken in Shamshiri Grill by @hungrytamale
