@huntercollege changed my life. I recently had the chance to visit the campus and talk with students alongside Professor Arabella Pollack. Hunter was where I first became serious about leading. Serving as Student Body President taught me that real influence comes from being grounded in what you truly believe. It was also where I first began to imagine a bigger life for myself. One afternoon, a professor invited a small group of us students to her home in the suburbs. I had grown up in a small apartment in the Bronx. Something shifted in me that day. For the first time, I realized the life I had only seen on television — on shows like Leave It to Beaver — might actually be within reach. Being at Hunter College, surrounded by students at the beginning of their own journeys, felt like a full-circle moment. If I can offer even a fraction of what Hunter gave me, that means everything. taken in CUNY Hunter College by @hunter_alumni

That question drove “AI at Hunter: The Future of Work,” a conversation at @roosevelt_house on how AI is reshaping work, education, and the skills students need to thrive. Thank you to moderator Provost Manoj Pardasani and panelists Michael Madaio (@Google), Pamela B. Jacob (@IBM), Harrison Marks ( Commonwealth Ventures), Mo Shaikh ’08 (Maximum Frequency Ventures & Hunter Trustee), and Robert Domanski for sharing insights on AI, ethics, and the future of higher education. The evening also featured a Student & Faculty Showcase highlighting innovative AI projects across Hunter classrooms and labs.
