This past Thursday I went into the Wichita Mountains to hike. I went off trail to climb up a mountain, and on my way down some of the rocks gave out. I slid and fell 40 feet onto my head. The paramedics told me it was a miracle that I survived such a fall, that I should not still be here. In that moment all I could do was cry out and thank God.

My faith is something I have been extremely proud of this past year, and having something like this happen to me only strengthens it even more. Through the grace of God I was given the opportunity to continue my time on this earth.

“He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.”
Job 5:9

I am here by His mercy, and I will never take that for granted again. taken in Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge by @hunter_chevy
