🚁🔥 Flying toward the smoke when everyone else is hoping it stays away.
Our BO105 climbs out in a towering takeoff, revealing the MD500C waiting just behind. A powerful sight, but today the backdrop tells a much harder story.
Across Kelowna, Vernon and Summerland, devastating wildfires are burning through our beautiful BC. The smoke on the horizon isn’t scenery. It represents homes, livelihoods, wildlife, forests and communities facing another incredibly difficult fire season.
Today we’re pointing the BO105 toward that smoke to help a friend and lend a hand where we can.
These are the days that show why helicopters are such an important tool in BC. When roads end, terrain gets brutal and access becomes impossible, helicopters can put people, equipment and support where they’re needed most.
BO105 and MD500C. Built for versatility. Ready when they’re needed.
Our thoughts are with everyone in the path of these fires, and with the firefighters, pilots and crews working tirelessly on the ground and in the air. 🇨🇦🚁🔥

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: My family can finally stop hearing, “I’m still looking for that vertical fin…”

After an entire year of hunting, refreshing classifieds, chasing leads, and probably annoying half the helicopter community… the unicorn has finally been captured. 🦄🚁

An original MD500C vertical fin. About as common as finding a snowmobile in the Sahara. I could only find one… maybe two… available anywhere.

The unboxing was pure aviation dopamine. Now the restoration can keep rolling!

From the first light of sunrise to well past sunset, our team put in an 14-hour day applying shade coating with dual DJI T50 drones operating in tight greenhouse corridors.

These are the moments most people never see. Precision flying, teamwork, and technology working together to protect millions of plants from the summer heat while maximizing efficiency and coverage.

Watching the drones lift off against the orange evening sky was impressive enough, but seeing them continue their work after dark with their navigation lights cutting through the night really highlighted how far this industry has come.

A huge thank you to our crew and our greenhouse partners for another successful application. Proud to see what can be accomplished when innovation meets hard work.

AeroVista and Burnaby Lake Greenhouses working together to protect thousands of vibrant blooms beneath acres of glass 🌸🚁

Every season, these greenhouses transform into a living mosaic of color, and our drone crews help keep conditions balanced by applying shade coatings from above with precision and efficiency. From inside the rows of flowers to aerial views over the canopy, this footage captures a blend of agriculture, technology, and teamwork in motion.

Using advanced drone application systems allows for consistent coverage, reduced disruption to greenhouse operations, and safer, faster application across large growing areas. Proud to help support one of BC’s beautiful greenhouse operations while showcasing what modern aerial application can look like.

Let me set the stage…

We lifted off above the pines; the world beneath us shrinking into stillness.

As we drifted over Widgeon Falls, the mist rose to meet us, brushing the blades as we grazed the tree line.

And just beyond… a mirror of glass appeared, Widgeon Lake, cradled between peaks and silence.

We traced its edge, circled the basin and found a place to land… a sheer rock ledge carved by time itself.

The helicopter settled.

The air was crisp.

And somewhere in the distance, a single violin began to play the songs I’d chosen, one by one, as sunlight scattered across water so still, it felt like it was holding its breath.

BIG romantic guy… ❤️🥰

From dawn until dark — Aerovista Solutions delivered.
Our crew was on site at 5 AM, spraying by 6 AM, and still flying until 10:30 PM under the stars and night lights. In one day, we applied 3,392 gallons of product over 32 acres of a glass greenhouse.

That’s hundreds of nonstop drone loads — minute by minute , filled, and flown with precision. Not a single deviation. Just pure teamwork and commitment to helping our farmers protect and care for their crops. #AerovistaSolutions #DroneFarming #GreenhouseSpraying #DJIT50 #AgTech #DroneSpraying #PrecisionAgriculture #CanadianFarming #FarmTech #GreenhouseFarming #AgriDrone #CropCare #DroneSolutions #NextGenFarming #AgInnovation
