Remember when I said we were trusting the process? 🎞️

My first Super 8 wedding film, and I genuinely don’t think I could love it more.

There’s just something about seeing a wedding day this way — imperfect, nostalgic, moving, alive. Like finding an old home movie of one of the best days of your life.

yeah. this is what happened. 😭

Reese + Jo gave me a yes, walked into the ocean, and then basically forgot I existed.

I think this is my new favorite way to meet people.

I walked out of my hotel at sunrise with one goal: find complete strangers on Waikiki Beach and ask if I could photograph them.

Which sounded significantly less terrifying when I came up with the idea. 😂

Then I found these two.

A few minutes in the water, no elaborate plan, just letting them be together while I followed along with my camera.

And somehow a random morning with two people I’d never met turned into this. 🥹

Maybe I need to approach strangers more often, what do you think? 🤔

Still not entirely sure who let me get on a boat, jump into the middle of the ocean with no cage, and casually swim with a shit ton of sharks but… I did that 😂🦈

And I would do it again tomorrow.

Probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever done in my life.

10/10 highly recommend doing things that make you question your own decision making 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

I was gifted my first camera because my grandmother saw something in me I hadn’t seen inside of myself.

I don’t think that version of me ever imagined it would become this.

Today, that camera brought me all the way across the ocean to Oʻahu to tell someone else’s story.
