Today is a Sunday for celebration. We are one month in to release of “Maybe in Heaven”, with over 50,000 streams collectively across DSPs. I would like to take a moment to say how genuinely grateful I am for every bit of energy, love, prayer, time and otherwise that you may have spent to share this experience with me. I am incredibly proud of this album and humbled to deliver it. Spirit could have chosen anyone for this and they have done this work in our family which is a gift of insurmountable love.

Last year I asked my Mother to create the album cover for “Maybe in Heaven”. I didn’t give her any notes as I didn’t know what I wanted, I just knew it was a special album and she would know what to do. Several weeks later, she would reveal a beautiful, hand drawn and inked image of a tree adorned with spiritual symbols of importance to me and my faith. There’s a tree that grows in the center of our neighborhood, it’s been there forever and I think that may have inspired her. This album is in many ways home for me, and that wouldn’t be possible without my Mother, Cathy, who gives me life and continues to grow with me. Thank you Mom, like your art you are greater than anything I would even know to ask for.
I would also like to extend my deep gratitude to my brother Brian Raupp for designing the album format and framing my Mother’s artwork for stores.

Today is my Grandfather’s heavenly birthday. Leroy Edwards, or Popi (z) as we called him, loved his family more than anything. He was a fan or Zorro, the Phillies, Spike Lee, Tony Bennett, NCIS and he always wanted to be a singer but took a higher path to be my family man. He would often joke “Like I told Spike Lee, ‘Do the right thing!’”. I’m doing my best Pop, I love you and I know you are proud. I wore your Good Co shirt to the album release party cause I miss you and I just wanna do good for my family like you did.

Thank you everybody who chooses to be a part of this and who continues to choose the good in themself. It’s only up from here. With the fullness of my heart, I love you and I appreciate you.
