Savor a glass of wine and explore textiles!

Kinusaiga is an ancient Japanese fiber arts practice that uses patchwork to create mosaics. Kinusaiga can be seen heavily throughout Saya Woolfalk’s work, founded in her familial history and multi-cultural explorations.

Coming soon to the East Wing Art Lounge: Upcycled Garden by Daniel “Attaboy” Seifert!

Discover magnificent blooming forms made entirely from repurposed cardboard and discarded household items. The artist started creating Upcycled Garden as a form of art therapy during the COVID pandemic, and the work continues to inspire healing and collective growth as an ever-evolving installation.

The USS Constitution, famously coined “Old Ironsides,” turns 229 today! ⚓

Just last week, she led Sail 250 in Boston to commemorate the nation’s anniversary.

This work by Fitz Henry Lane depicts Boston Harbor at a much earlier time. Between the war of 1812 and the Civil War, Lane painted this tranquil scene to showcase the beauty of a warship in peacetime.

What will we the people preserve in 2026? This question guided our America 250 Wish Wall at this month’s Throwback Thursday.

Our answer? The memories from the program! Guests enjoyed Americana music by @callmespinster, designed their own quilt patterns, and reflected on what preservation means to them.
