Had to, as we say in Canada, cut the lettuce off for my current role so it was only fitting to capture the flow one last time.

54 Sings Led Zeppelin - Black Dog

I’ve always dreamed of performing at 54 Below. With 48 hours notice, I got the call that I’d be filling in for this concert on a song I’ve never sung before, and I think it added what we in the theatre business call ✨spontaneity✨

Thankfully, I wouldn’t have wanted my debut to go any other way.

Huge thank you to @kaileighfiorillo and @josephthormusic for making this happen, and letting me scream, head bang, and jump around, in that order.

Nathan Leblanc had the best laugh I’ve ever heard. He had the funniest, driest sense of humour, was an immensely talented performer, a truly genuine, kind-hearted person, and was one of my best friends.

It’s been a profoundly difficult week knowing that I won’t have more time with him, but in looking back at all of our memories together, I can’t help but feel so lucky that I got to have a friend like Nathan in my life.

We would play DnD together, and I was lucky enough to DM one of my favourite DnD sessions ever with Nathan, involving a fantasy Chuck E. Cheese’s potion puzzle where we had all sorts of real life concoctions to drink that would result in whacky effects in the game.

We’d also play video games together, from coming over in person to dungeon crawl, or online, plundering the high seas or playing as as the notorious bandit cowboy duo the Barrel Brothers.

Nathan had the most beautiful voice. His senior recital stands out in my memory not only for being hilarious (this man rode in on a stick horse to start the show), and of the best recitals I’ve ever seen, but for his performance of one of my favourite songs “Meadowlarks,” by Fleet Foxes. When I hear this song I always think of Nathan. His is my favourite rendition.

From our weekly movie nights, working together at our church choir job, all of our hangouts in our apartment in New York, watching the first half of “Oh, Hello” 20 times, talking about his chess lessons and strategy, or just playing games and laughing, I’m always going to treasure the time I had with him.

You’ll never be forgotten, Nathan. Your last message to me was “We’ll hang again, I promise.”
I’m holding you to that.

I just signed my second National Tour contract!
After having been on the tour this winter for the sequel show, Million Dollar Quartet Christmas, I am so happy to announce that I will be joining the National Tour Cast of the original Broadway musical, Million Dollar Quartet, for a special engagement limited run at @bbmannhall this month!

A huge thank you to Prather Productions and Apex Touring for this opportunity, and to my dear friend @brandonfillette - can’t wait to pitch me a boogie woogie with you.

On December 6th, 2022 I made my National Tour debut with some of the most fantastic actors and musicians I have ever met. Not only that, but my parents, family members, and my lovely partner @kaleyclairemc flew all the way out to Florida just to see lil’ ol’ me!

I am so grateful for the experience I had with @mdqchristmas and all of the lifelong friendships I made on the road. This role and show will always hold a special place in my heart.

I am so excited to announce that I’ll be hitting the road and tickling the ol’ ivories this holiday season with the Million Dollar Quartet Christmas National Tour understudying Jerry Lee Lewis!

Jerry Lee in MDQ was my first ever professional musical theatre gig, and I’m so excited and honoured to come full circle with this amazing cast for my first big show coming out of college.

A huge thank you to the MDQX team and Evan Bernardin Productions!
