ambivalence: a short (dance) film

i created this film as a final project for my queer cinema course, and i could not be more proud of the final product. this film represents the uniqueness and nuance of queer romantic experiences through the lens of dance and movement as a means of expression. i wouldnt have been able to do this without my amazing friends to help me out for my first time creating and filming a project. hope you enjoy!

is lincoln’s (ii) most wanted.

um. wow. i can’t express how appreciated and seen i feel right now. performing in this sense has been a dream of mine ever since starting high school, and my friends can attest to the many prior plans for my skit.

i want to thank the fantastic and hardworking people in my skit, my amazing friends who helped with my campaign, the incredible court, all of the student body and staff, and of course my parents.

i wouldn’t be the person i am today without them, and i’m so grateful to have such a loving and endearing community who supports my authentic self. this skit was truly one my favorite things i have ever choreographed and it is my heart and all that matters to me put into a piece.

thank you again to everyone, and i’m so honored to be @lhstrojans most wanted 2025 🤍🤍🤍 by @huntersthomas

the next four years ❤️🐾

so grateful to be going to @chapmanu to continue my education, where i’ll be double majoring in dance and political science!

i want to thank all of my teachers at @elevatedancecompany, all of my dance friends, my school friends, other mentors and teachers, and especially my parents and family. all of these people inspire me so much and motivate me to keep on doing what i love, and being my authentic self.

can’t wait to be there in august!
