Drake Baldwin - National League Rookie of the Year!!

This took me down a rabbit hole… I got to thinking… has any team ever had 3 rookies of the year on the same roster (Acuna Jr., Harris II, and now Baldwin)?

The Dodgers had 5 on their roster at one time from 1992 to 1996 and they were consecutive… 😳😳😳 Karros, Piazza, Mondesi, Nomo, Hollandsworth

In the late 80’s the A’s had 3… McGwire, Canseco, and Walt Weiss (our newly named manager starting next season).

In 1985 - 1987 the Orioles had Fred Lynn, Eddie Murray, and Cal Ripken Jr.

I think that is all the times this has ever happened… if im missing another instance of this happening let me know. Ready for baseball season already!!!

Nothing like wetting a line with your son on a Friday after long week… and whipping his ass on biggest fish for the day… 😂🤣😂

His was just under 4. Mine was just a tad shy of 5 lbs. I’m guessing mine was a post spawn female as her mouth was big enough i could put my fist in it and her belly was missing some mass. Still a heck of a fish.

We had a lot of fun… good conversations, good tunes, and good vibes to kick off the weekend!
