Today we turn 27 & I truly couldn’t have made it without Haley. Here are a few reasons why:

This year, Haley helped me move into my new apartment. She helped me prepare while I was interviewing for my new job in January, and then again when I was promoted in October. She helped me train for my first marathon. Fast forward to when I was struggling towards the end of the race, only a few miles from the finish, she ran beside me. And as soon as I finished, she was right there to carry me home. She helped me pick up the pieces when former close relationships ended. She helped me remember where to find my smile when the weight of it all was getting too much for me to handle.

Throughout most of that, our mom was really sick. For a while, it felt like the world was crashing down around us. But Haley was my rock. I knew that we could get through anything together. And now, we can say with the fullest hearts, we have our mom back. She’s healthy and strong as hell, again 🍀

I don’t know what I would do without my sister. She is my biggest supporter, my best friend, and is undeniably the very very best part of me. I don't think words in this language have yet to be written I can use to show just how proud I am to be part of her. What a gift it is to be your twin.

Happy Birthday, Haley. This is our year. I’ll love you more than everything, always. by @huntmit
