POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

From draft to dream 🥹🌻
Never thought I’d go from being too scared to read it without tearing up to having my first written and illustrated book inspired by my ED recovery in the local authors section at @bettylovesbooks_bookshop 😭
I know I haven’t been active on here for a couple months now but I am super excited to share my book that was finally published last year 🐝

It’s about a beautiful tree who lives in a forest surrounded by friends, but after a rough storm leaves her hollow and vulnerable, a snake
plants seeds of lies and self-doubt in her mind, as she believes her friends won’t love her unless she is smaller.. when the snake’s lies become so loud
she can’t hear her friends... or even herself..

She needs her friends more than ever to help her learn: Your size does not define your worth! ❤️ the tree learns to find true strength and love from within, with a heart glowing so bright to scare off any shadow of doubt 🌻 and includes affirmations to end the book <3

I’ll be having a launch to celebrate with Betty Loves Books bookstore on the 10th February from 10:30, there’ll be free face painting by @sparklecoveau , story time on the mat (with lots of pillows:) and lots of chalk to share some positive affirmations or message that has helped you with your mental health & brighten someone’s day 🌻 I’ll also be matching donation from the profits from this event to support youth mental health organisation @batyraus 💙 Please come along if you can make it!! The event can also be found on Facebook to RSVP 💕 by @huntresfae
