So, it's hard to believe I am writing this.

It was almost 7 years ago that this property was nothing short of an answered prayer. It came at just the right time. This was a place for sustainable living, growing our own food and living independently. It has been a place of peace, refuge and connection. Whether it was collecting eggs in the stillness of the morning or watching the most beautiful sunsets in the evening, we have been truly blessed with this abundant oasis.

Now, God-willing, it will serve as a sanctuary for another family.

The "Pinehill Schoolhouse" has a special place in the history of Wilmot Township serving as the school for all of the farming families. We still have several of the original attendance records.

Now first and foremost, this is not the end of Huron Earth. I am simply asking for 1 year of transition.

I will post any updates as they come.

This house has been fully transformed and updated. Close enough to the city for amenities, but far enough to retreat away from the busyness.

This property includes a large separate workshop and a 2 stall barn. There is also a chicken coop with hydro. It is a 3+1 bdrm and 3 bath. Woodstove, pellet stove, propane furnace- all for your choice of heating options. Wholehouse UV filter on a well (we have the best water, it has turned my children into water snobs lol.) Metal roof, in-ground pool, AG zoning. 17ft ceilings and a FULLY FUNCTIONAL Schoolbell 🏫

The basement includes 2 separate entrances, full bath, bedroom and rough-in kitchen (we did all the hardwork with the plumbing/venting/electrical, you just need to throw up some cabinets.)

The property is very much set-up to be self-sufficent. Just add solar and you can be completely off-grid.

As for the garden- over 30+ mature, medicinal, perennial herbs. 4 different kinds of elderberries, and a dozen type of roses. Sea buckthorn, raspberry, haskap, blackberry and currant bushes, apple and pear trees.

🌿Hey everyone! So I am currently purging. Over the years as a small business I have accumulated so many items that simply just take up space in my home.

This year I have also decided to scale back on Huron Earth to give priority to other projects in my life. Before anyone panics you will still find me at the Stratford Sunday Market and you can always reach out for products. I will also hopefully get around to hosting a few workshops this summer.

I have sooo many items for sale. If they are not sold before hand I may just end up doing a full studio yard sale.

These are great items for anyone getting into herbalism, starting their own holistic business or simply want to make their own wellness products at home. You could easily start an entire business with just these products.

I will list what the items currently retail for, however, each item will just be at a "make an offer" price.

If anyone is interested in the entire lot, please reach out so we can figure something out :)

Yes I am still here! I have emerged from a long + much needed hibernation.

🌹Here are some photos of the beautiful Southernwood and dried roses (from the fall) that I distilled into some lush hydrosols just in time for the market tomorrow. Swipe to the end to see a video of Luna patrolling the garden 🐾

I will be slowly updating stock on the website, but please reach out if you are looking for anything in particular as we are now fully stocked for the season 🌿

I WILL have plants tomorrow. However, we have some major projects going on this year so
I have significantly scaled back on my plant offerings this season. So that being said- I wouldn't delay in getting your medicinal plants just due to a lower stock this year. I don't have a complete list yet as more things are slowly growing, but come check us out at the Stratford Sunday Market tomorrow to see our selection 🌱🌱

This completes the family trio that frequent the market throughout the season. Mother to the girls of Creation Sisters and daughter to Mac of H.E.Grows 🌿

"Huron Earth is a small-scale herb farm just outside of New Hamburg on Huron Road. We specialize in unique medicinal herb varieties. We offer these plants as seedlings in the spring and then transform them into plant-based healing products throughout the season. You will often recognize me with my Ukrainian copper still that I bring with me to each market. Her name is Stella and she creates beautiful floral hydrosols and essential oils. All the herbs we grow are no-spray using organic fertiziler and regenerative methods wherever possible. We offer our Elderberry Tonic on occasion through the summer using 4 different kinds of elderberries. Follow @huron.earth for announcements on future workshops and classes."

🌼A little delayed post- but we harvested all of our St. John's Wort last month + are currently solar infusing, as well as making a custom blend🌿

The St. John's Wort was abundant this year, however, so were the Chrysolina (St. John's Wort beetles) that truthfully can only be managed by manually removing them. Can't risk hurting the beautiful bees + butterflies with DE. We barely got any St. John's Wort last year because of these beetles.

I made the mistake of offering my 2 girls 10 cents a beetle, thinking I only saw about 40 on the plants. Only to discover that within 15 minutes the girls had collected almost 300 😳😳. This went on for about 5 days until the plants were ready to be harvested. So clearly a new price had to be negotiated for the following days 😆🙃
I guess I must not be good at those "guess how many jelly beans are in the jar" games 🤣🤣
