The Huskies stand with survivors, their families and Indigenous communities, all of whom continue to be impacted by the harms of Canada’s residential school system.

Today, we keep them in our hearts, honouring them through listening, speaking the truth and remembering all of the children who never came home.

Today, Huskie Community, you have the opportunity to become part of something great. On September 9, the University of Saskatchewan’s Giving Day offers a special opportunity to double your impact on Huskie Wrestling.

Eligible donations of up to $1,000 will be matched while matching funds remain—so the earlier you donate, the better the chance your gift will be matched. Every gift donated will go towards supporting the training and competition that helps every student-athlete on the Huskie Wrestling team succeed on the mat, in the classroom, and beyond!

Here is how to donate:
1. Visit the Giving Day donation page (Link Provided Below)
2. Select "Huskie Wrestling Fund"

Thank you for supporting the training and competition opportunities that help Huskie wrestlers succeed on the mat, in the classroom, and beyond.

Meet Donovan Neudorf, a graduating biomedical science student, Huskie wrestler, and proud member of the USask community. 🎓🤼

Balancing high-level athletics with the demands of biomedical science pushed Donovan to grow both inside and outside the classroom.

Through competition, teamwork, and perseverance, he found a strong support system, unforgettable experiences, and confidence in the path ahead.

As he prepares to cross the convocation stage this spring, Donovan reflects on the people, challenges, and moments that helped shape his journey at USask, plus a VERY exciting new chapter he is about to begin in the fall.

Congratulations, Donovan. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
