Found this button recently and used AI to restore it (second photo). Proper button porn. Then asked it to describe it...I did check and it's very accurate. Scarily so. #PC

This antique metal picture button features a relief depicting Saint George slaying the dragon, rendered in the classical style of historic protective talismans (St. Georgstaler). Cast with a textured, star-patterned backdrop, it portrays the armored knight atop a horse with his cloak dramatically billowing behind him as he drives his lance downward into the writhing dragon. Dating from around the late 19th to early 20th century, this silver-toned clothing button served a dual purpose: a decorative accent for heavy outerwear and a traditional symbol of protection, chivalry, and good fortune for travelers and soldiers. by @huskydetecting

Haven't found owt in October so far...and I think my Google phone knows it so it created this which was when my good friend and detecting buddy Silverboy Valentinas found a short cross hoard last year! Sharing for you all to enjoy! #teamsearcher by @huskydetecting
