POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Good songs stall all the time. Usually not because of the writing or the beat selection.

It’s because the sound changes every release. Different producer, different engineer, nobody holding the thread. A listener finds one song, goes to the next, and hears someone else.

Artists who grow keep the same team behind every song. Production, post-production, mixing and mastering, handled together. The sound stays recognisable, and each release builds on the last instead of resetting it.

If you’re typing ā€œTravis Scott type beatā€ into YouTube…

You’re probably asking to sound like somebody else.

References are useful.
Copying isn’t.

The problem isn’t saying, ā€œI want this kind of energy.ā€

The problem is taking the bounce, the sounds, the arrangement, the whole formula — and expecting it to somehow become your sound.

Instead, ask yourself:

What do I actually like about this reference?

The 808?
The space?
The drums?
The energy?

Take that ONE thing.

Then build everything else around your voice.

Because you don’t need another song that sounds like the reference.

You need a sound people can hear for two seconds and know:

That’s you.

Your song didn’t flop.

Nobody heard it.

There’s a difference.

You dropped it Friday.
Posted the artwork.
Put ā€œOUT NOW — LINK IN BIOā€ on your story.

Then Monday came… and you decided the song wasn’t good enough.

But how many people actually heard it?

Because a release isn’t just the moment you drop the song.

If nobody knew it was coming, nobody knew the story behind it, and nobody had heard the snippet before release day…

You didn’t give the song a chance.

The artists you see ā€œjust droppingā€ and getting results?

They’ve usually spent weeks building the release before you ever saw it.

So before you delete that record or move on to the next one, ask yourself:

Did the song lose… or did it never get played?
