After football ended, Hiram found success in sales. But when that disappeared too, he was forced to confront how much of his identity had been tied to achievement.

That moment forced him to ask a question he hadn’t really answered yet: who was he without football or the success he built after it?

Former Troy and University of West Florida football player Hiram Velez reflects on identity, starting over, and what happened when the things he had built himself around were suddenly gone.

Just wrapped up a 5 day mission trip in Curacao with the leadership team from @excelchurchatl .

Life changing experience!

Got to locked arms with some amazing people that are all in on handling God’s business and expanding kingdom territory. Super grateful to be part of such a move of God.

Shout out to my Pastor for his vision and obedience.

My God is a REDEEMER you hear me?!

If you only knew the HELL I’ve been through! the pain I’ve felt, the pain I’ve caused, the emptiness I’ve lived in for so long…

The great thing is, I serve a LIVING God!

The God who leaves the 99 for the 1…
A restorer of faith
A healer
A sovereign King who loves me more than I ever could Imagine! More than I ever could deserve.

The God that sent his perfect son to take on my sins & DIE for me just so I could have an eternal relationship with him and inherit the Kingdom that he has prepared for all of his children.

I owe you the rest of my life Jesus❤️✝️
