Bring a pencil to rehearsal they said… excited to play again, first stop: Film music in Copenhagen by @hydra.quartet
Walking through Depot Boijmans, hearing Giorgos play cello in the background. And suddenly I remembered. We don't just show up and play. Every single one of these musicians has been doing this since they were children. Every day. For decades. I forget that sometimes. In the middle of a great show, a beautiful venue, an audience that's fully there with you — it all feels natural. Like it was always going to be this way. But it wasn't. It was thousands of mornings of practice before anyone was watching. Grateful today for Giorgos, for the Hydra Quartet and ofcourse Armin van Buuren, for the fact that we get to do this at all. @giorgoskotsiolis @hydra.quartet @arminvanbuuren @twofiftyk @boijmans #concertlife #depotboijmans #classicalmusic #cellist by @hydra.quartet
