Our new Keep on Keeping on song drops tomorrow. You just keep effing getting up. That’s it. And also dream big etc. @brianmanley is a genius and has been working with our album design. Here’s a little hint of the #albumcover for our new record. It’s a piece of the story. We’re so lucky to have friends that are #artists. Check out the custom #punkrockjacket our friend @lexieinatlanta made for us!🤩🤯. It will get it’s own dedicated photo shoot and post soon! We’re about to paint the town with some #politicalsigns featuring a surprise design by @justinreich . These signs will be littering the schools and libraries in your neighborhood soon. AND. Tomorrow our song Give us the Heart ♥️ officially comes out on all streaming platforms. Recorded and produced by @tjthunder at @bigtroublerecording and mastered by @danmillice - the full album is out February of 2027 and we’ll be throwing big party. Limited run and presave coming soon. We’re making something we can be proud of….to listen to, and to look at. by @hydrafighter

Q4 2025 - It was determined that work would wait. That songs had hidden on pages too long. That we weren’t getting any younger. It was proclaimed that fortune favors the bold….and that it was time to be bold. Within a week there were canceled work meetings, nee meetings with studio owners and music producers. Bosses were given requested days off. One of us took a short sabbatical. Family was considered and consulted and convinced (consoled?). And the gears were in motion. And they’re still in motion. Our bew single Give us the Heart ❤️ comes from ht this Friday. Next post will show the amazing art that @brianmanley did for it!❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥 So to summarize. We made a rock and roll record with @tjthunder at @bigtroublerecording it was life changing. Out friend @justinreich captured a ton of footage and made us a sick af video which you can find on YouTube for Vampires. @danmillice put his sparkle magic on the tracks during the mastering process. And @dylankight gave us the beat advice ever. “Just make something you can be proud of.” And we did. And we are. And our new song comes out this Friday. And we still have our jobs. And our families. And we’ve done something we’ve always wanted to do. So here’s another #keepinkeepingon song. There are many more where it came from.

FOUR! Dr visits and a new single - what a week!
Our next single Give us the Heart ❤️ is out this Friday at Midnight. It’s a keep on keeping on song. Just like the rest of em, but one of the beat if em. Stay tuned for a little clip at the end, as well as some unqualified medical advice and a love note.

Friday Night Lights Before Friday Night Lights - A low tuning and a #slideguitar are feeling like they’re unlocking this song’s essence. @hydrafighter may need to do a couple of different versions cause that’s how we roll these days. @finnmmic79 and @mikebarnhillmusicdad have been playing versions of this song for years….and we’re pretty sure it’ll be epic by the time we record it for our #secondrecord - #atlantabands #sectional #rehearsal by @hydrafighter

Our first album is done, we don’t have any gigs for a while, so what are three members of HYDRA FIGHTER to do on a Monday night? We worked on new material. learned some covers, dove deep and explored the magic in some new songs and new jams. What fun what fun what fun! Brian‘s on fall break right now. I was on fall break last week, but no matter which of us gets together for how long and for what reason good music always seems to come out of it. Super stoked. #bandpractice #jamsession #newsongs #harmonies #practicespot taken in Johns Creek, Georgia by @hydrafighter

Rock & Roll Field Trip - So much love for legends @citizentheband putting on one of the best shows we’ve ever seen. Every band was amazing. Lookout for @wereanxious 🔥🤯 @hotlinetnt and @cryogeyser - #livemusic energy is so real, so undeniable, so human. If you want to fix the broken parts of your soul we would highly recommend #makingmusic or going to a #rockshow #seattlelivemusic #showboxsodo @showbox by @hydrafighter

Now THIS is the music we love. And we’re stoked that @hydrafighter radio on Spotify has us with bands we love like @thebrianfallon @northcotemusic @jhart201 @sonvoltmusic and @the.jack.knives
Hell yeah. We approve of the algorithm.

Seriously, who said you could jump on the drums when you played at @shakykneesfest last night. Hopefully @kcalnairb is ok with it! HYDRA FIGHTER had and amazing time rocking out hard at #shakyknees last night. If you missed they went on right before @ttweentyonepilotss - not sure which band has the better #stagepresence but it is debatable - @finnmmic79 @kcalnairb @mikebarnhillmusicdad and @zeroandtheones rocked out hard and nobody got hurt which is a feat in itself. Although @mikebarnhillmusicdad did have a hard time remembering what key songs were in and that the word he was looking for was “oscillate” #uncpunk #dadband #rockband

Good times at the @roswellartsfestival !! @kcalnairb had to leave before pictures. Met some amazing new friends and some of our good friends came out to support. Video of when I jumped off stage, looked cooler in my head but still pretty rad. @finnmmic79 @zeroandtheones @mikebarnhillmusicdad #americanaband #atl #atlantabands #weekendfun #artfestival by @hydrafighter

Working on covers you can sing along to! Who wants @hydrafighter to do a #ringoffire cover? 🙌🙋‍♂️🤘 People’s gotta work so sometimes @mikebarnhillmusicdad and @finnmmic79 spend their #lunchbreak together to write, arrange and learn #coversongs - We’ve got two versions of this gem in the oven. @junecartercash wrote it, @johnnycash perfected it, and @socialdistortion rocked it. @mikeness was one of the first artists that @finnmmic79 and @mikebarnhillmusicdad realized they both loved. And now we’re working up a version based on theirs and another thats just for #synclicensing - Come see us play with the men that complete the quartet of angels @zeroandtheones and @kcalnairb on Saturday at 2:00 at @roswellartsfestival - tomorrow night is full #bandpractice yay!! taken in Johns Creek, Georgia by @hydrafighter

The Algorithm and We Can Agree!! - We’ve been fans of @garrettwheelerofficial since hearing him the first time, and now technology has come to see the connection. Splendid!! This was a cool surprise seeing that the @spotify gods put @hydrafighter in the #americanamusic #playlist with our neighbors and brethren. Hey maybe a GW and HF show should happen sometime! #america #atlantabands #atlantamusicscene by @hydrafighter
