Both of these hydraulic fluid samples are new and exceptionally clean having been ‘polished’ in our hydraulic flushing rig. They are however different brands of fluid. It’s a good example of the difference in base oil colour during blending. It’s also a good reminder that no matter how experienced someone may be, you can’t establish oil contaminants purely by viewing.
At Auckland Hydraulic Services we offer oil sampling and onsite analysis using laser particulate counts. We also offer onsite flushing of hydraulic tube work and hoses to ensure trouble free commissioning of new systems.

July 1st ticked over our 5th year in business. It’s been quite a ride and a massive learning curve. I’d always been told that things change when you have ‘skin in the game’ and they’re certainly not wrong. Starting up in 2020 during COVID was interesting but it all worked out ok.
Great to see many others out there breaking away and going out on their own. Keep your standards high and do what you say you’re gonna do and the rest will flow #fitterandturner #hydraulics #supportsmallbusiness by @hydraulicsnz

Trip to @rocketspeednz today to check on progress and progress is solid. The @heidtssuspensions IFS is nicely grafted in and looks like it’s meant to be there. Everything sits really nicely and the track width works well allowing good turning radius of the front wheels without fouling the fenders. A power steering pump and compact alternator sit low down and out of sight. A fabricated trans crossmember and brake master cylinder are also completed and awaiting testing for certification.
