Quick story time…

I started this project to push myself out of my comfort zone and meet new people.

Around the same time, a girl popped into my feed with a video saying she wanted to grab coffee with strangers. Our content got recommended to each other, we messaged, and made plans to meet up.

But life got in the way.

That was over a year and a half ago…

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I was walking along Granville Street when I spotted a familiar face.

I wasn’t sure if she’d recognize me…

Clearly I was wrong. 😂

Vancouver has a reputation for being unfriendly, so it felt special to finally connect with someone just as intentional about meeting new people.

Thanks for being open to an impromptu photoshoot, @hypebeyst.

You crushed it 🔥

Cried so much the past two months because I hit my rock bottom yet again when I thought I was just getting myself out of it.

But this week has turned those tears into happy ones. I’m so lucky, I don’t think anyone would believe me if I tell them what I went through vs. what’s unfolding for me right now 😭🥲
