“The Kobe Guys” 🐍♾️

11 years ago (2013), me, @brotha_d , Slim and @livin_nostalgically did a Kobe display in NYC. I think I was in charge of 2K4, 2K5, ZKI, ZK2, Hyperdunks, ZK4, ZK7 and some in-betweens. Grumpy old man coming….”This was back when no one cared like “everyone” seems to these days” lol. Epic times, first time I met @brotha_d in person #KobeKonnection now bro is one of my best friends. This was a lot of work, the planning alone, Darryl and Jayson did the planning, haha I dust followed directions. But man finding pairs, displaying and then putting it away, I don’t know how people do these shows regularly, kudos to those that do though, I can’t even be bothered to look for all my Kobe 7’s these days. #tgif Met the legendary @dmxgod this day too🙌

“Kobe Code” 🐍♾️

Another Kobe 5 Basketball Tracksuit, Lower Merion vibes. Details are nice, zippers are shaped like shark teeth, and they have the Kobe Sheath or the Kobe code on them. Pockets and collar have the Kobe code as well. Fun story, I wore this back in December of 2011. Me and the wife went to Disney world in Florida for our wedding anniversary. Wore it with the Away Lower Merion Kobe 5’s. Thinking it was Florida, I wore these for the plane and only brought summer clothes for the trip. Lo’ and behold, Florida experienced a freeze, and we were not prepared🥶🥶🥶 we laugh when we look back at our pics during that trip, every pic, we were in Disney gear: hat, gloves, jacket, pants, Mickey everything 😂😂 Had to pay up to stay warm.

🎃

#wdywt downtown had a pre-Halloween trick or treating for the kids.i absolutely swear by these, it’s not as sharp looking as FK trainers or racers but these, absolute comfort (for me). Soon as I put on my first pair back in the day, I immediately copped about 10 more pairs pairs (different colors of course lol) #tgif

Couple of recent wears…season’s a changing! 🍁 🍁🍂🍂

@nigelsylvester 4’a for luck, toured a Magnet School my daughter wants to go to 🤞🏼. AM90 IDs since it just fell right for the season. ID’s are my NT and SC forum tag lol.

Some on foot pics of recent wears the last week or so, older runners, airmaxes, uptempo’s and huaraches. I pretty much like everything that’s interesting and fun. Actually had the time to wear different pairs, ever since I started working from home, picking up the kids from school is really the only time I get to. Easier to wear shoes instead of crocs, now that it’s colder lol.

Got to take pics before the wife started making fun of me 😂😂😂

Coat closet finds. My wife wanted to put new shoe racks in the closet and was throwing stuff out and found these pairs. Baby @nike @kobebryant 7’s my son used to wear and “Whoomph” ATI strength training shoes😂 I obviously had dreams of dunking 😛 These were in the closet for damn near 15 years. Wife got them for me from Eastbay as a Christmas gift back in the day, before I can use em, I tore my meniscus and then forgot about em. Shoes DS, bagged with cd and training module still pristine 😂 I guess once my son gets old enough, see if he wants to work for that dream of dunking 😅
