In a world obsessed with speed, some of us still find peace in slowness.
In forests, in silence, in unprompted hugs, and in connections that take their time to grow.
Perhaps feeling deeply, in such a superficial world, is also a form of resistance🌿

He viajado a islas y montañas.
Me he reído muchísimo más.
Las quejas han disminuido considerablemente.
He visto más a mis amigos.
No he necesitado ver a mi terapeuta.
He empezado a hacer micromacramé.
Voy más al gimnasio.
Me cocino mientras escucho música.
He empezado a escribir una historia.

The fritillaria meleagris is a small refuge for life. A tiny umbrella protecting its most precious treasure: its pollen.

Sometimes we forget the intelligence that resides in everything around us. We walk the earth believing ourselves to be stronger, more important, more necessary. However, perhaps true greatness lies not in dominating life, but in protecting it.

The fritillary doesn't compete, invade, or destroy. It simply bends gently to the ground to shelter that which allows life to continue.

Perhaps our actions, too, should become a refuge: a tranquil place of care for the life around us🌿

When I was little, I started horseback riding. It only happened a handful of times because, although it was a dream of mine, my parents couldn’t afford my classical dressage lessons. But even if it was only ten times, I still remember spreading my arms, searching for freedom. I was only fourteen, and sometimes I think my happiest life would have been in that stable.

Isn’t she absolutely adorable? 🪻🐝
The Earth gifts us moments like this.
A tiny soul covered in pollen, helping the world bloom one flower at a time.
Bees are especially drawn to purple flowers — to them, these colors shine like little beacons full of nectar and life.
A quiet reminder that the smallest creatures often keep the whole world alive.

Sometimes we believe that temporary situations can feel eternal. We experience them from a place where infinite possibilities no longer exist, and all that remains is the certainty of something that arrives unannounced and sweeps everything away🌿
Poppies are, perhaps, a remedy against that false sense of infinity, against that abyss of uncertainty. They force us to stay present, to remember that life occupies only a brief space of time, and that some moments frighten us simply because we have never lived them before.
Maybe that is why poppies bloom for such a short time: to teach us to truly see them while they are here🖤
